You can continue to lie to yourself all you want, it’s not going to change the fact that your PvP arena credentials mean absolutely zilch when it comes to talking about a system for pugging PvE entry level dungeon content.
The fact you seem to think that means something in a conversation that has nothing to do with PvP is kinda hilarious, run out of steam everywhere else so you’re dragging irrelevant things into the mix to try to give yourself -any- credibility? Well you failed there. No one cares about your arena rating in the context of a PvE, Normal/Heroic dungeon queue system.
I definitely did better than you In PvE sunwell patch, not that it is saying much, pretty sure a majority of people playing did. (Side Note: Judging healers on their parsing is also a really dumb take)
I try to be reasonable and will completely concede this. I was on a lower population realm and I would work to find a group back when I was leveling in OG Wrath and TBC. It took a while. Dungeons weren’t meant to just be “spam spam spam” mentality back then, though. They were meant to be a challenge and something you’d explore and dig your teeth into, especially when leveling. They were the last thing you’d do in a zone after the majority of the quests, then you’d get your cool piece from completing the dungeon. It was the goal of a zone.
Now, everyone just wants to dungeon to max. Even at max level, dungeon dungeon dungeon? At what point did this become the purpose of World of Warcraft?
I’m neutral on RDF. Not that it really matters in this context because this thread isn’t about RDF anyway. If you’re going to stalk me and follow me around, at least keep up with my positions.
Yes, I’m always excited when Blizzard makes good changes and when they communicate.
Hmm I wonder if drastically changing every zone in the game, permanently losing the charm of many zones like Thousand Needles, had anything to do with people’s disappointment instead of the dungeon finder which we already had in Wrath?
I’m not remotely scared, I just literally have zero reason to give you any information on my classic character, because your more than likely the kind of person to go start harassing my guildmates. And so are several trolls on this forum.
You act like it would be difficult to do better than you, my guild didn’t 6/6 before pre-patch, but we certainly didn’t stumble and die 2/6.
Was it the encapsulate that got you on the 3rd boss, or people just not able to stay out of the green clouds? I’m curious.
Im on the other side of the fence. I did the no life grind. Im 41 now. I have two kids. I raid the 2 days and have fun doing it. Im limited on my other time. I would love to hop on, get into a group fast and then get to the dungeon fast. I want to maximize my limited time and always have. Thats one of the major things the RFD tool provides.
Right now I can use the tool to find a group easy. Its good for that. What it doesnt do is save me time. That is the number one reason why I want RFD. Its not about leveling. Its about my time at max level.
They seriously took and wasted development time to make the same thing except they took the teleport away. It literally made no sense to me.
I wouldn’t go harassing people in-game lmao. You think I want to violate the social contract and get my account banned right before Wotlk launch? You really aren’t too bright or are really scared that you’re performance is bad.
Bro, it doesnt matter if they are a tourist or not. This doesnt invalidate their opinion. Its not like you have to play classic to have a knowledge of the RFD tool lol.
The RDF was added during a 1 year content drought. It wasn’t in at launch.
That is entirely possible that people losing nostalgia affected people’s desire to level. I don’t know if you played back then but people CLAMORED for an old world update. It was very much requested at the time.
