My point proven. A “holiday rush” is the pinnacle of your 'oh-so-stressful life". Grow up.
Now you’ve just graduated to blithering idiot.

He’s been that for a while now.
Can’t even connect the dots between sales/advertising and manipulation.
Most things are consumer-driven. I don’t think anyone disputes that FOMO is a consumer phenomena, only that companies instigate it. Both things can be true.
But in any case, not entirely sure what this has to do with your comment on people “stampeding.” That’s what I was more or less referring to.
This whole argument was about FOMO and the mass hysteria that follows it. I’ve got first-hand experience, while you spew nonsense about your entire life.
Got it.
Have you not seen the videos on people during Black Friday Sales during the 90’s and early 2000’s?
RIP buying WoW tokens with gold for game time due to this thing
At this point release a mount that’s 1,000 dollars that’s also an AI ERP chat bot NPC that you can pay for a race change on.
Keep assuming you know anything. It might help with that incredibly low self-esteem from lack of any substantial life accomplishment you’re going through. Maybe? Nah. You’re too steeped in O.S.O.S.I. Syndrome to ever admit you don’t know anything.
Oh…btw…
Overblown
Sense
Of
Self
Importance
I mean, do you think you’re special or something?
We’re all adults here (assuming, anyways). All of us have witnessed the Black Friday rushes. That’s hardly something to chime up about and/or use as a cudgel to shut other opinions down.
Sure, but FOMO manifests in different ways. You’ve described one way of it manifesting. There’s an entire subsect of psychology on the topic of FOMO.
If I offered you a soda for 50 cents, am I manipulating you?
I am painfully aware of the victim culture.
Attempting to influence me to buy a soda, so yes.
Do you honestly believe otherwise?
And tell me, do you honestly think manipulation is inherently a bad thing?
Oh, I see what this is.
This isn’t actually about discussing FOMO, this is about you inserting your own individual experience into the matter and flaunting a sense of superiority.
Good to know I can discard your opinions moving forward. Thanks for saving me the headache.
It’s just an offer. I couldn’t get my pet psychiatrist on speed dial.
Stop arguing among yourselves. This is what Blizzard wants, for you to derail the post and take frustrations out on each other. Stay frustrated with Blizzard, don’t lose sight.
You do not need a psychiatrist to attempt to influence someone to a certain end.
Well no, it’s just subtracting the anecdotal ‘my feelings’ angle of it.
Im just offering you a drink. There’s no influence there.
Beware, AH bots will be out of control. No way to fight the price sniping anymore.
in Chile the mount cost like 64 usd and we can buy as a gift
Even if I would spend that much, why would I when I am not getting any value from my sub ATM. They pushed the goal post in M+ so far back from where it was years past. Most all my RLF quit. When they are hard stuck after 4-5 week in progression. So I don’t need anything from the cash shop, as I will be pausing my sub after this 20 year event. (Have 2 years paid from gifts) I also will not be pursuing any blizzard games. No D4 upgrade no CoD no new Xpacks. They have proved at anytime they might make it unfun or unplayable.
It’s a business transaction.
You’re offering a drink for me to purchase for 50 cents.
The influence is in the offer itself, because this is a business transaction and you, if you are at all sane, actually want me to purchase it.
