Now Available on the Shop: The Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur Mount

Go pound sand somewhere else. Get some self-control and stop blaming everyone else for your shortcomings.

I mean, at this point it’s more productive for everyone to ignore this person. They’re just making up their own definitions of what FOMO means to make their points. Their claims of “FOMO has to explicitly be this thing or else it’s not FOMO” is ridiculous, delusional, unfounded, and the cries of someone who doesn’t have an argument to stand on, so they just start lying instead lmao

Hilarious that you’re crying about FOMO on something completely innocuous and you don’t have to buy, but nah its the man telling you just not to buy it.

I almost choked on my coffee over this post

i still remembers people trolling my threads asking for bruto back or when it was bugged on bmah everyone claiming it was fine not showing for 2 years and now look at me i got me a big boy a better one a cooler one.

Unironically this.
He denied that advertising was manipulation then went on to describe it as a tool for advertisers to manipulate people into purchasing things.
Complete 1-head.

There he goes again, lmao.

A ‘sale’ isn’t manipulation, my dude. It’s literally a ‘sale’.

It’s a really dumb take to think that everything you see or hear is out to get you.

Saying it’s FOMO isn’t me crying about it. I feel absolutely nothing for the mount, so none of this personally affects me.

But I’m not a person so conceited that I’m incapable of recognizing that what Blizzard is doing is 100% going to manipulate people into buying this mount purely because they’re worried about not being able to do so later on. This is live-service 101 lmao

But hey, maybe if you continue to make up arbitrary criteria for what something needs to be in order to qualify as FOMO, you might convince someone eventually lol

It is the way of the future for WoW.

Research player patterns on what they ask for, what they want, what they most like doing or collecting, and find a way to montetize it.

Want the Druid appearances from the original Mage Tower? Expect to see it sold in the store or available by some other means that you pay for. Missed out on one of those gorgeous old TBC pvp mounts? See it up in the store one day. So many possibilities to gather those $.

Do you apply this to people who stay in their abusive relationships out of fear?

Dear Blizzard:

Why is the token “unavailable” if it’s a digital item, and why is the token cost going up if it’s “unavailable”.

Make it make sense.

Man. Just wait until they add an battleship mount that fly’s and has vendors. The world will go insane lol. Now you can fly and have vendors on the fly. No pun intended.

As for me. I am just happy that we have an alternative skin to this stupid brutosaur mount that doesn’t cost a billion gold. 1.8 million was a hard pass for me in bfa. I still am the most broke wow player to ever exist right now. I still remember when 16 k was not attainable back in wrath for most players.

I have self control and I’m not going to waste $120 AUD on a bunch of glorified pixels but I’m not going to stay silent about it and pretend it’s not happening because I’m not the target.

That is something completely different.

You mean people with poor impulse-control. Meaning people who should know better. But nah, whatever gets your moral superiority up.

…and you don’t think that contributed to the fiasco? Interesting.

Is it though?
They are free to leave any time, right?
Per your logic it’s their fault.

See how your line of reasoning doesn’t work?

No. You can’t have an infinite stock of the things. That’s why you state explicitly on the advertisement so the more irrational people don’t turn their aggression on the retailers that work there, my dude. That’s why retailers don’t have Black Friday Sales or Nike selling their sneakers anymore. People can’t control themselves.

Because the WoW token on the AH is supplied by players, not Blizzard.

Gamblers have poor-impulse control. Do you think that means casinos and sites like Stake (Kick) don’t manipulate and prey on gambling addiction?

$90?? Are you insane???
