I would not be surprised to learn that they WANT wow to die. Think about it. They sold millions of copies of wow and are probably legally bound to keep the game going so that people can technically play the game. What if they wanted to get out of the MMO business and put their resources in the more lucrative tablet games but they’re stuck supporting an MMO because of the people who purchased copies. I can imagine that a company might do things to dissuade people from playing the game in hopes they’ll just quit and walk away. BfA was a half effort attempt at an expansion, everyone knows it, and I think its the signal of the decline in wow.
Maybe they’ll open Classic, leave it manage by a skeleton crew with no updates or expansions (cheap) and then close wow. Who knows but something does not smell right about BfA.
