There’s a reason why your stocks dropped 30% value since blizzcon, it didn’t happen by coincidence. There’s a reason why it’s happening now and why it’s the biggest market drop ever for blizzard. This game is not fine. The Diablo franchise is not fine. Heroes of the storm is a dead game and we just got proof of that with blizzard latest news. Wow is going in a terrible direction, is currently in a terrible state, the worst it’s ever been. Not a lot of people like BFA. I’d be willing to bet 1000 bucks that we are currently sitting at the lowest subs count in Wow history, that it’s not even close to WoD lowest subs count. And that number will heavily drop soon everyone’s 6 months for the dreadwake mount is over or for ppl like me that had high hopes for this expansion and that took 6 months of game time on launch.
These Wow Q&As are not even addressing the concerns, they are just confirming to us that this game is going in the terrible direction we tough it was. There is absolutely nothing to look forward to in Wow and in blizzard games in general. We said it countless times, blizzard is incredibly out of touch with their community and it wasn’t always like that. We used to have devs at blizzard who had a real passion for the game they were making and that wanted us to have the best time possible, the most fun we could have. That passion is gone.
So again, stop acting like everything is fine, your shareholders tell you otherwise and so do your customers.
lol so sick of people saying that. there are countless and countless threads of suggestions to improve this game in the past 3months. at this point you’re just trolling
not to be a Blizzard fanboi or anything, cause Im certainly not, but havent ALL stocks dropped by a large amount in the last few weeks? Not saying Blizzard is great, but stock dropping seems pretty common these days
Yes the market is going down, but blizzard stocks started crashing RIGHT AFTER Blizzcon. No coincidence. Other video game companies have been crashing over a bigger lapse of time.
Truth is opinions vary on what’s “wrong” with the game. I personally am not enjoying it because it’s simply boring (not lack of content). To me that’s the “wrong” but that doesn’t fit what anyone else thinks is “wrong”. /shrug
causation doesn’t always equal correlation. Not saying that Blizzard didnt take a hit from their Blizzcon but you cant say they have lost 30% stock value just from it either.
The lack of communication between the developers and the community is definitely a cause for concern and is being addressed by more rational people in less explosive and inflammatory threads.
The conspiracy theories, which are essentially what they are, about the fiscal health of Activision Blizzard and linking it to specific forum posters not getting what they want is just mind-boggling but it is a sign of the times in general.
Only in the video games industry is the consumer expected to create/fix their own product. Imagine if you went to the restaurant, the food was burnt to a crisp, and when you went to go complain for a refund or more acceptable product the chef along with four other diners came out and said, “why don’t you cook it yourself!?!?”
This is mindbogglingly stupid. Not to mention we’ve given years worth of feedback on the alpha/beta BFA forums but it was ALL ignored.
Idk where you’re getting your info, but since November 5th, monday market opening after blizzcon weekend, Blizzard stocks crashed by 30%. Ubisoft stocks crashed by 8% since november 5th. EA stocks dropped by 11% since november 5th. Like I said, other companies have been crashing on a much bigger time lapse and they did not right after their annual big event.
My info is from this weird thing called “the stock market”.
If you look at trends, Square Enix, EA Games, Nintendo, Sony Interactive, TTWO (Rockstar/2K Games), CD Projekt…are all down on average 30% in the last few months.
Its an industry trend right now that all video game publishers are dropping. You are just wanting to take a much smaller sample size to make sure it upholds your narrative.
Blizzard was already on a strong downward trend…like everyone else in the industry…before Blizzcon.
Many industries ask for feedback. Not just the video game industry. And typically everyone says…regardless of industry…something along the lines of “if X sucks, what would make it better?”
