I absolutely do not want to necro an old post, so I’m asking again - will you please fix the status page so it auto-updates when the realms are up or down? It would help even on non-maintenance days if someone has issues logging in. Quickly seeing if it’s a game or realm wide issue vs. a local one would probably avert a lot of CS questions.

The realm status page need to be removed entirely. It is a relic of the old days when servers were individual, and there was no Battlenet Service as a gateway to the game servers. It only shows the realm status, not if you can actually get to it. If the Auth servers are down, even if they are up while they work on them during Maint, you can’t log in to the server.
That is not going to change. The most they will do is remove it totally, I hope.
The place to look for status on servers is the Launcher or the Support page.
Each game tab on the Launcher will have the Maint or emergency issues for that game posted. For Battlenet as a whole, it is up at the top right of the launcher usually as a 
sign. That tells you if the login services are having a maint or issue as well. That can impact many games and services.

I do not think they use it any longer. Look for messages on the bnet launcher!
