Than standing in front of an NPC waiting for that one limited supply recipe you need…
Park a different character on it then check every hour or so. That’s what I always did.

I’m leveling professions on other toons at the moment. Between smelting hundreds of bars and checking the vendor, I’m having a blast.
you could buy it on AH from someone who did the waiting in line for you…
None on the AH at the moment. I’ll keep waiting.

If you had a good shatt set you know something like full T3 you might impress the npc.

lol. I haven’t set foot in Outlands yet. I’m trying to get the Runecloth Gloves pattern. I don’t think she’s impressed by my Earth Warder’s Vest. 
In case anyone asks…
So I was leveling up professions on other toons and doing other things while I checked for this pattern (runecloth gloves) every 10-15 minutes for about 5 hours. As I was leveling up engineering, I was looking on wowhead for where to get the Thorium Shells schematic. Wowhead said that it was a drop, but I saw one comment that mentioned it was sold by the trainer. I go look, and sure enough, it was at the trainer. I looked again on wowhead for runecloth gloves. Everything on wowhead says that Qia sells this only. Just to be sure, I went and looked at the tailoring trainer…sure enough - runecloth gloves. Doh!
TL;DR - Runecloth Gloves and Thorium Shot is now learned from trainers, so don’t bother looking on the AH or trying to farm or wait at a vendor for these.

I did mention it in my last post last night. Nevertheless, I really didn’t think I was looking for that info. I have never seen wowhead be so wrong on something like that. What they get from the database has historically been pretty current. Oh well, at least I had other stuff to do while I waited. Thanks for looking out for me
Ok, now I’m waiting for Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense. Anyone want to tell me that it is now sold by Topper McNabb?
