Not re-subbing until RDF Comes back

I AM KRUMTOILET. I also will not be playing without RDF.

What kind of crazy logic is this? Why would you ignore any time period in Wrath? Using your logic, Ulduar lasted just as long as Naxx, ToC, and ICC because it was released in 3.1!

Retail sucks because of the groundwork that RDF laid. There would be no LFR without RDF.

You are incorrect. The Devs had an interview and told us why LFR was released. The raid team was going to have budget cuts because almost nobody raided. They added LFR so that their raid participation stats would rise and they could keep their funding.

I’m perfectly aware of the interview.

You have to be a clown to think LFR would in any way be accepted by the players if the precedent wasn’t set by RDF first.

In addition, the LFR tool is a copy paste of the RDF tool with maximum 100 lines of code difference between the two.

RDF laid the foundation.

3.3 had a huge content droubt to where that single major content patch lasted almost as long as the other 3 major content patches of wotlk combined.

Ignoring the content droubt is intentionally leaving out important information. By averaging the two values it gives a better representation of how much of wotlk had rdf that was relevant vs the inflated amount because of the content droubt.

Where is the proof for this theorized 100 lines of code or why would it matter? RDF wasn’t something that was new in the industry. You might as well say CoD matchmaking laid the groundwork for LFR.

The reason for LFR was what I stated.

That content drought averaged 12 million subs. That content drought was literally the most popular the game has ever been. Sure, let’s just ignore it because it had RDF in it to support your argument.

I write code for a living. The RDF tool and LFR tool are copy pasted, and they probably only had to tweak a couple attributes in the JSON.

RDF laid the groundwork. They didn’t have to invest in time to develop the feature because 99% of the code was already there.

It is one of the only content droughts that we’ve had where they actually gained subs. RDF is king.

I also code for a living. Not seeing how changing a JSON would allow for LFR instead of RDF.

You don’t write code for a living, you’re a joke.

If you did, then you would recognize that with the UI being identical all they would have to change is the array of instances available to queue and the ilvl requirement.

More like you troubleshoot people’s internet connection for Comcast. Do me a favor and don’t larp as a programmer and then call it “A JSON” because you look silly.

Except its not being ignored… its being taken into account in that 36.5%. If i was ignoring it i would be saying rdf was only in for 25% of wotlk.

You are the one ignoring information because you dont want to take into account that there was a content droubt at all.

Array, list, dictionary a different size. The code to manage the invites at a different volume. All of the changes to the UI. etc…

The analytics platform that I developed for UPS for sale to our external customers has brought in $240m in revenue over the last 3 years. Nope can’t code.

See you after ICC patch.

You wrote hello world one time in Python. You clearly don’t know anything other than the most basic data structures.

All they had to do was tweak the array of instances. The logic for displaying the list is identical.

If you write code for a living you would recognize when code can be reused.

I bet you would write a function to check if a number is even by adding 2000 if statements to it

Hate to break it to you bud, but if you want to play Classic the vanilla servers are still up. TBC is over, WOTLK is here. Time to embrace WOTLK including one of its best features RDF.

WAIT WHAT??? This is shocking information. You mean in OOP you can reuse functions and classes??? I never knew that. ROFL you are the joke buddy.

If you know this then why are you pretending they didn’t reuse the code and just change a couple attributes on the object?

How’s that imposter syndrome treating ya?
