well, they just lost my business. not resubbing. when the devs are that out of touch with their current community… im out. shows that theyve gotten even worse than they were at cata. theyve got till the end of my sub in oct to change and prove me wrong. they are going to end up with alot less subscribers than they could have had.

EDIT: scrolling some of the replies and most of the RDF malders are all sub lvl 60 lol.
that wont be happening, hated cata the first time, wont subject myself too it this time, and what with the hot mess they are making of my favorite expansion… yeah not happening. and you cant look at character levels here and get a real read on it. but you should expect the pro rdf crowd to have lower levels, they came back for WRATH not wrath reforged.

You have to understand the people who want RDF out of the game have been playing since 2020. The whole reason blizz even decided to take it out was because EVERYONE from the OG classic community was anti-RDF way before even TBC was a thing.
So what do you think the smart thing for blizz to do?
- Listen to their core fanbase who’ve been playing the game for years?
or
- Listen to someone who hasn’t even hit lvl 30 yet and just started playing a week ago?
Chances are you’ll still play to 80 because the game is still fun with or without RDF.
the smart thing would have been to put out a poll/survey to subscribed blizzard customers and find out what would the majority like, not a cozy little crew that demand control over their servers and have it to such a point that there are no balanced servers out there except a couple of new ones.
and as far as your listen to someone who hasnt even hit lvl 30 comment… you realize how ignorant a statement that is right? just because my forum character is lvl 20 means i must not have any character anywhere higher than that or played longer than that.

It’s until the dopamine no longer controls him. I doubt he’ll cancel. He is a retail player. That is entirely driven by dopamine hits because the content is C tier at best mixed in with a terrible community of redditor types.
I have always supported in this forum, phase 1 normal rdf phase 3 heroic rdf. They should introduce rdf as a catchup with TOC when we get the first new 5 man dungeon
Its in keeping with how ZA and DM were introduced.
I don’t believe that people unsubbing over RDF (if they really exist… let’s be real, I highly doubt someone is unsubbing over a queuing interface) would have lasted very long in wrath even with RDF…

People arent unsubbing over rdf. If they “came back” for wrath have been subbed 1 month and then just know found out they didnt play tbcc and arent in the playerbase. We’ve had the game for 3 years without rdf, if you “dont wanna come back now sniffle” i dont really care!
it also came 75% of the way through the expansions content. and was a catchup mechanism during one of the most hated content droughts in the games history.
You already know this. you cling to bad points because youre mad and have no real hope (arguably correctly) that blizzard will introduce RDF anytime soon, so youre determined to abuse and shout down anyone who disagrees with you because youre bitter.

you realize your statement is full of holes right? first of all it came in at just over 50% of the way through, about 26 days after the halfway point. secondly, if you want to take that approach you have to remember that the patched version of wrath we are getting is AFTER RDF was included in the game, so that kind of deflates the “halfway through” argument as the patched version we get is more toward the end of wrath.
and then theres the matter of all the other changes, some from cata, some from later, some from current retail that are being put in game, so that sorta just blows your argument out of the water.
please, stop parroting these other anti rdf’ers, the arguments against RDF boil down to the classic mob wanting to rule, and if you disagree i ask you to go visit the old servers… zero balance… always stuff like… hey if you want alliance go to the atiesh, if you horde go to old blanchy… these classic players divied up their classic servers by faction then whined they couldnt get enough pvp. On top of which, the biggest reason for anti rdf is gatekeeping… anti rdf call anyone that hasnt wasted their life alongside them as tourists and they have flat out said they want to drive all the tourists off the game.
