Given that ICC was the very last significant raid tier, that was pretty much the end of wrath. You can’t count Ruby sanctum and two years of no content as part of Wrath honestly. It ended when we killed the Lich king and RDF came with that patch.

Wow, amazing argument!!! Hey, by the way, cross-realm bgs came two months AFTER Naxx 40 was released in Vanilla. Came with BWL in Classic…over a year earlier. Almost like when a system went in originally has never meant a damn thing on these Classic servers. By comparison RDF is much, much, much more relevant to Wrath. As far as that huge content drought…yet subs still rose a bit. Interesting. Almost likes players still had something to do because dungeons were suddenly made relevant.

So, you just want to queue with the absolute bare minimum gear, do the bare minimum and get carried to free gear. If you can’t interact with another person and get into a group, you shouldn’t play WoW classic. Go play FFXIV if you want to single player mmo.

nope, had you bothered to read earlier, part of why i want rdf because i run my tank with my healer with me and we keep rando dps runs going. we like to help. we take the emblems out, dont care, but that would be making another change.
i just dont get why people can for some reason be upset that people they dont know are teaming with other people they dont know, to create a team of people that they will never have contact with, to get dungeons done by this strange random group of people that are in no way competing with them would be bothered by the very existence of all these people they dont know choosing to play their game different.
maybe its because i dont feel like i need to compete with people i dont know to get self validation out of a game where i dont even talk to them. rdf is a pve tool so how does it affect pvpers? thats the only reasonable group that MIGHT be considered competitors. as far as pve being a competition, its a made up competition in their minds and anyone against rdf is part of that delusional group.
and there you have it folks, one of the real reasons they are anti rdf… they want to keep pvers easy to kill and keep them out of higher end runs. and someone like ganker there just likes to camp dungeon entrances and try and kill runners because he has ZERO life outside the game.
You could always play on a carebear server.

I see you and others encouraging people to leave, and you will get your wish. Did you know that the first time WoW lost subs was in Wrath (just before Ulduar release). This was the first quarter in the history of the game that less people played than the quarter before.
This will happen again…Phase 1 is dry and people will leave to try Dragonflight or just leave outright. People will come back for Ulduar, sure…but will they stay?
You think because it’s wrath that it’s infallible, but this isn’t true…wrath was the first time that WoW showed weakness. It’s more likely than not that they add RDF at some point to draw people back into the game…just like they did the first time around.

I’m not encouraging anything. They said they’re “leaving” (they didn’t play Classic up to this point, so they’re not leaving), because the game in this implementation doesn’t gel with them. That’s fine. That’s what they should do.

I think Wrath is the most flawed of all the Classic expansions. Do I know it’s gonna be extremely popular RDF or otherwise? Yes.
