Not re-subbing until RDF Comes back

No just use the LFG tool.

I was able to find a DPS spot at 2 AM server time for sunken temple within 10 minutes. If that’s possible then you can find a group for any dungeon. You simply haven’t even tried and already threw in the towel.

Limit RDF to server (NOT battlegroup or any other server). Make new friends that way, and also build / destroy your reputation on that server.

You can make friends regardless of what server people are on.

On Remolus, at 3am. Did that this morning, an hour trying to form a group. Gave up. Yeah, you tell an Aussie to go play on a US Server instead.

Not really when you can’t play with them.

Why are you posting on US forums? Go to EU or oceanic.

You can talk to them on discord (teamspeak) or transfer servers like we did in vanilla.

To be fair, Blizz just mistreats Aussies lol. It’s honestly an issue unto itself.

Because Oceanic Servers are LINKED with US Servers. And the only Oceanic Forums are Oceanic General Discussion for RETAIL!

That’s sorta my point. Gaming culture has evolved and people nowadays min/max, want to get through things as fast as possible and get their character as powerful as possible. It’s a lot less about the adventure and more about mix/maxing. Blizzard has ignored this for RDF and I think it’s a huge mistake. I fully do not believe a majority of the player base would rather spam a chat channel all day than have that process automated, with the way gaming culture is right now.

More :poop: you’re pulling out of your as. Frankly that’s really all you do. I’m very comfortable socializing. So comfortable that I don’t need to try to force people to socialize with me. And since I socialize so much I know that spamming lfg for x dungeon, or saying thanks for the group, or when the walmart greeter says welcome to walmart isn’t socializing.

Those against the rdf are so emotionally stunted and desperate for some small connection to other people that someone just saying thanks for the run thrills them. It’s very sad.

Yeah I don’t care so long as it stays out of Wrath Classic.

So every time you meet a new friend you have to leave your server or only get to message them on discord, wow.

Great friendship building conditions right there, optimal might I say. /S

You said you want to do dungeons with 4 npcs instead of players. FF14 is that way.

There was no drought, we had RDF for half of WOTLK.

You think that your feelings on the community sentiment is more accurate than the information they have from scientific polls conducted prior to each re-releases announcement?

You didn’t play wrath. We got no content for a year besides Ruby Sanctum.

You’re lying again. That’s something that does hinder socialization and making friends. It seems to be pathological with you. That’s something you can work on with your therapist.

If you can’t understand how a game system that makes people easily replaceable also stifles a sense of commitment towards a stranger, you are being willfully ignorant. Granted, YOU might not observe social interactions being less or more with LFG vs RFD, but that is more than likely a reflection of you.

RFD creates an environment where people are so easily replaced, that its quicker to toss the new guy than it is to type out a few sentences and get him going. Maybe these interactions are limited to newer players and casuals, which is why you don’t see it much. That’s fine. But the game shouldn’t just cater to the players at the top that only care about min maxing every experience. And RFD promotes just that.

I don’t mind RFD. But it’s weird to not make these basic connections. You can like RFD and still understand that it has pros and cons.

Nuance is allowed.

What polls? How would they gather the data to conclude “Yes the majority player base doesn’t want RDF” without asking them? Did I miss some polls about RDF because I never participated in any. Blizzard never got my opinion! :frowning:
