When I try to redeem a code for shadowlands it says im not able to add Shadowlands Base edition to my account, I have game time left, I have BfA, My account is not a starter edition account, and the ticket says it will take 24hrs, meaning I would miss the first day of Shadowlands
where did you get the key/code? Hopefully not from one of those 3rd party retailers like CDKey and the like.

Are you trying to purchase from Blizzard directly?
As a rule of thumb, if you did not buy it from Blizzard, the options are much more limited and you typically have to deal with the retailer you bought it from. This is because Blizzard does not have, nor never received your money. I hope that makes sense.
