No, I agree. It wasn’t the only reason.
However, we know it was A reason, and I’m ok with them not including it.

LFD devalues the content you can queue for it just becomes a weekly/daily chore to get “up to speed” to do the real content.
Note this is with the current player mindset, even if you ask people who like LFD the point is to invalidate dungeons so they can gear for raid.
Which effectively would mean wrath would have to stand on the strength of its raiding and pvp (which just is not enough content).
I cant take anyone claiming its for the community seriously, they cant be playing the same game as everyone else lmao
Bulletin Board is what everyone uses, there is more communication in M+ nowadays than there is in BC
No LFD literally translates into:
Hey buddy wanna buy a boost?
What else did you expect? Every expansion re-release brings us closer to Retail. Feel free to get off at the Era server of your choice.
No, the toxic WoW community ruins the community.
That makes no sense whatsoever. LFD invalidates dungeons? It does the opposite: it makes dungeons far more viable and gives players reasons to do those dungeons, thanks to the extra rewards. And they’re more accessible. The activity in dungeons will skyrocket with dungeon finder.
I expect blizzard to release these expansions but make sure they have a long hard think whether or not to release them with certain content that are widely known across the world as content that started the downfall of WoW. I’m glad blizzard have thought about it.
Subs went down because of a multitude of other reasons. LFD was not one of them. Get a life dude you’re as bad as zipzo.
yeah. you straight up have no idea what you are talking about. LFD vs. Non stop spam in LFG (being forced to use an addon). Just because Wrath is releasing again, doesn’t give the devs the right to “REDO” everything.
Retail being trash has absolutely nothing to do with LFD. Retail is trash for many other reasons.
This is what I hate about some peoples view on this… Some of us thought/hoped, that “Classic” was going to be more or less a copy+paste so we can relive the past expansions as they were. Of course it’s not going to FEEL the same because it’s been years now and we’re older, but it’s definitely not going to feel the same when you start making major decisions like this.
So, if you aren’t content with the way the game was in Wrath, Cata or beyond… just stay behind in Classic or TBC and let the rest of us move on to our favorite expansions… just as they originally were.
Please stop feeding the troll. He’s been repeating that lie for some time now. Subs went UP after LFD was added, not down. Not that has anything to do with anything. But he just likes to make things up.

OK, and what knowledge and/or evidence do you possess that allows you to make such a declaration with such confidence?
Subs went UP after LFD was added, not down. Not that has anything to do with anything.
The graphs show otherwise. After LFD was added, the game trended downwards for the next two expansions.
Please stop feeding the troll.
I find this ironic given your posting history, especially as it relates to LFD.
Get a life dude you’re as bad as zipzo.
I’m almost convinced that the two of them are the same person lol. I’ve started to just overlook them now.
Considering Blizzard is already screwing up the most popular expansion ever, I can’t see them doing anything that would make people want to play Cata again. I think Classic will end at WotLK, because Cata is when the modern Retail started.

I really hope not, Cata was one of my favorites. But you might be right.
It does ruin community and saying that it doesn’t denies years of data and revises history.
Care to show us your data?
Protip: correlation does NOT equal causation.
I just want WotLK Era servers so I can stay there. If Blizzard wants to go beyond that, so be it.
What’s insane to me is that people asked for Classic specifically to get away from QOL features that were detrimental to the MMORPG experience, like LFD, and now, Classic players are asking for those same features that pushed them away the first time around.
False. Players were asking for classic specifically to get away from terrible game design decisions that are in retail. Unique classes, talent trees, game difficulty, no borrowed power bullcrap, before the cataclysm. The list goes on and on. The QOL features are not what makes retail bad. Its literally everything else.
Then go to Classic Era where none of that exists. Every expansion after that gets closer to Retail.
