The absolute insanity these players will go through to avoid PvP at any cost is mind blowing to me lol.
Now I won’t lie that I get Arena anxiety from time to time, especially when I’m trying to push a rating. But to see someone post about having crippling anxiety while trying to get their daily 500 plunder while looking over their shoulder and spazzing out has me laughing over here like I haven’t laughed in years.
Some of these people are legit giving advice saying “yo just land and if someone fights you off the start just run into the storm, it’s not worth the PvP fight and anxiety you’d feel.
I dunno, I used to think I was bad for getting arena anxiety one in awhile, but this takes it to a whole new level.
A lot of these people just like the dopamine hit of collecting, not actually playing the game at any level past lfr or leveling alts. They spend years on the forums asking for MoP challenge mode sets back, “real high elves for the alliance”, and old PvP elite sets to be abtained through PvE. Blizz has made a bunch of decisions I haven’t enjoyed over the years, but this one I hope they stand firm with, and expand on. They could, switch to class themed spells, or add more interactables on the map. I feel like the idea has legs and not everything has to be a new dungeon for raid loggers. (End rant)
I met a guy who begged me to kill him at the start of the game, at first i was like " huh?". Then i gladly killed him and gained experience to lvl 2, xD.
Not trying to be mean but… I wonder what people like this do about conflict outside of a video game. Seems like a serious lack of mental resilience, to the point of mental illness.
