As a restoration shaman I have been needing on a staff that drops off the last boss in Temple of the Jade Serpent. Both times the game has not let me roll and instead given it to the other person who hit need. Both times it did not show my roll despite it being an item for my class and spec. The first time the other person rolled a 1, and the second time the person rolled and the second time the other person rolled a 96, but neither time did it show my roll.
it’s a dps staff, they did that in cata dungeons too. A tank can’t ninja the dps 2h
You need to change your spec rolls - right click on your portrait → Loot Spec → select Elem.
If a DPS and a tank roll on a tank shield, then the tank gets the priority roll.
Essentially, your current spec =/= your roll spec. It needs to be set to w/e else.
