I like the different modes for dungeons. Follower for quests and learning a dungeon, or grinding for something. TW for fast clears to get to 5 for the reward, Heroic for a slightly more challenging scenario, Mythic+ for others… I don’t do Mythic!
End of the normal/heroic season? Oh.
This is something that existed at the start of the season just as much as it exists at the end.
For M+, that’s a different story because of the scaling difficulty. But for normal and heroic dungeons? Yeah people were blitzing through those very early on.
this is the primary sustenance.
i have tried fruit juice once tho
tried salad once too and couldn’t eat it
The problem is that there’s an auto-queue.
Auto-queue content has to be tuned around the bottom of the barrel players who really don’t know up from down still being able to complete it.
Should just get rid of Normal/Heroic/LFR and make Normal raids/M0 queuable, and M0 spammable to curb the complaints about Delves being too rewarding.
You’re right, Norm/Heroic is so trivial that it’s not even really content.
Well alright then let’s put it to a vote and if it passes let’s do it wow forums! We start at M0 and there is no easier dungeon! And add Normal mode raids to the queue!
Come to think of it I guess this is why they think they need 5 layers of gear.
We shall double or triple down on the difficulty by removing the trivial stuff!
This is due to M+, which should be removed from WoW. PvP can take its place on the vault. M+ is a mini-game that has nothing to do with the Lore. Take it out of Azeroth and make it a mobile game. The poison spread throughout all group content due to the timer and IO ratings are immeasurable.
Then how do you expect new tanks and healers to learn? I understand that most dungeons are mind numbingly easy, but they have to learn to play with others in live content somehow
Follower dungeons… I can barely tell the difference from real players if I happen to end up in a normal/heroic dungeon.
I just cleared a normal with 3 DPS and a healer. Seems fine to me.
dungeons have been diablo-fied for a long time.
Don’t open the gate, or what ever, to the path to the next boss until the mobs are at a minimum.
Then dungeons devolve into run until there’s an invisible wall, aoe it all down and repeat. That’s how FF works and it’s where the term “Wall to wall pulling” came from. You literally pull from one invisible wall to the next.
Didn’t Blizzard still do both of these things this expansion? Both heroics and mythic dungeons were buffed by compressing the levels. Both tanks and healers were nerfed coming into TWW as well.
Right, and that’s the way I play Follower Dungeons. Any speed running and I get left behind, constantly get killed and constantly get killed again trying to rejoin the group until I get kicked.
And neither of them had any impact because normal / heroic dungeons require that little from players. Nerfing tanks to the point they can’t wall to wall heroics would basically make them useless anywhere else more difficult.
And with the key squish there’s not much middle ground anymore. It’s either boring easy or obnoxious hard.
I’d argue in the least the +2 to +4 range should be more middle ground, and the rewards from Mythic 0 ideally should get a slight buff for season 2.
they are balanced correctly they are entry level so of course people will be able to run right through them. if you nerfed tanks and healers enough to matter in normal or heroic then they would suck the higher up they go. like wise if you buff heroic or normal dungeons enough to matter then they are no longer entry level dungeons.
