At least 7 of them.

This a strange question. you realize ALL players get turned down right? For every group that gets players, theres 100s of players who dont get in?

Probably 50 or so, maybe 60.

I lost count.

Not because I’m terrible, but because I don’t keep count of the occasions I get turned down.

You can’t get turned down if you create the group!

Too many to count. If anything I get surprised when I get invited.

Probably most.

An actual new player - which is what the subject is about - is not in any position to know how to lead a group in mythic dungeons. But yeah. They can start a group and have it never fill, or only fill with other players like him who don’t know what they’re doing. And having taken malicious advice from the forums on how “if you’re a new player, talents, gear, covenants, none of that will matter for you! Don’t look up guides online, only meta slaves do that.”

It isn’t just the new players. I’ve been playing since BC and still have a really hard time getting into pugs. It’s just how this game works.

It comes down to this, get your IO score up or run with your guild or create your own group. Why should the key holder risk wasting thier key when a noob doesn’t even put in the effort to prove they learned the dungeon? It’s like applying for a engineer position irl with a resume that shows all the volunteer work you did at a local church.

I would add that a new player could really, really, benefit from a guild. There are guilds out their that enjoy showing new players the ropes.

Now if only I could crack the code on: “how would a new player know to go to their realm forum and post their interests and times online so that a guild could find them” issue.

I played for almost a half year before learning about the WoW forums.

Don’t worry, I wasn’t going to sign up for mythics anyways.

Well, Blizzard foolishly forces the players to vet one another for Mythics, instead of having a Mythic dungeon finder OPTION to go along with that.

So, it’s just more content many people won’t experience due to limitations.

I never get picked I have signed up for

Castle Narnia
Mythic Plus +2 +3 +4 +5
Mythic 0
Rated BG

I was rejected from all of these groups.

I can do LFR and world bosses though, and random heroic dungeons or regular battle grounds. It does get kind of boring though!

I feel like I win the lottery getting in a +2 and didn’t get kicked in De other Side for dying once.

there is no leading if you’re not the tank.

put a group together, pass lead to the tank, and go do the dungeon.

so? so can I

everyone has to learn somewhere. I don’t think new or inexperienced players learning together is a bad thing at all.

As a totally and completely new player, I have no issues finding groups.

I mean idk what them being in the restaurant industry has to do with their ability to run a mythic dungeon…
