Hey guys, I’m looking at trying to push 2s rating for the first time to see how high I can get. I’m not very good, so I was trying to pick a class that would give a noob the best chance possible to climb.
My friend is going to be playing his Rdruid, and I was looking at maybe DH or WW. Those 2 seem to be good from what I’ve read on forums… but I’m not sure if there’s a better option or not.
I can’t just choose whatever toon I have fun on because I have fun on every toon haha. I’m just looking for a noob-friendly class that I can try pushing with to see how it goes.
Anyway, thanks for any input! I’m sure this topic annoys some people, so I’m sorry for that. Just lookin to have some fun with friends : )

The fact that DH can win through raw damage right now as well as a simple rotation makes it pretty noob friendly.
If your friend is new to healing pvp MW is probably easier to start with because of its high throughput. Just keep in mind that damage is super high right now, and you can easily die through defensives if you aren’t using CC to stop other players during their cds.

Oh no not a troll post, was being serious haha. I know the topic is kind of dumb, but I am sincere in asking. I’ve never played a DH really so I thought maybe I’d be better off with a WW since I’ve at least played it… but thought I’d ask to see what everyone thought.

Dh or ww are both good high mobility high dmg and a lot of outs as defensives. WW decently tanky would say DH is even more so with a large tool kit and simple rotation. Id start with a melee though have a shorter kick can learn positioning better, no chance of being stopped by interupts and trained down by melee cleaves with 5 psuedo interupts aka ghetto kicks (Ie. Missed kick, death grip, or incap or stun, or ring of peace until kick back off cd). Id say warrior, rogue, surv hunt,feral and ret are kind of a step up in difficulty for their party utility, cc responsibility as well as peeling for partners or setting up a kill window

Thanks Awlday I appreciate that detailed reply : ) I almost chose Ret because of having Bubble to rely on but just am not sure if they have enough sustained dps for us to win close games
