I would love my evoker but, I hate the range and low solo-ability.
Just to pitch in, I just don’t like the way they look in and out of gear. Derpy and weak would be the word.
Other form is great, though they should totally give the option to turn into any race now human and elf scaley cosplayers.

I can’t (metaphorically) swing a Dracthyr by the tail pretty much anywhere where other players are, without hitting seven other Dracthyr. Thankfully! I love the Great Green Circle of Explosive Healing!
Of course they’re the least played class, because they’ve only been in existence for 6 months, where the last races added to WoW were Mechagnomes and Vulpera on January 14th, 2020 with BfA patch 8.3. That’s over three years ago.

My biggest complaint about them is the clothing customization, it sucks. The class is also very boring to me.
However, I do like the race and their history. Their racial are very cool and fun as well.
It would be a better class if it was more like frost mages and elemental shamans. The spell controls are the worse I’ve ever experienced from a WOW class.
All in all they got a lot of things right so far but missed the mark on this major feature.

If they had more classes there would be more of them.
Instead Blizzard wasted them as a new race by having them restricted to one class for stupid reasons.
if they had more transmog options id play mine.
i really feel blizz made them and put them as a mail class to say “oh look, new race is a mail race. we cant remove mail now even tho we dont know what mail is ourselves and the smart move would be to remove it and move the mail classes to other amour sets (hunter to leather, shaman to plate, ect)”
but again, its blizz we are talking about. they always do the most stupid and herdest things when something smart and easy would be the way to go
What I don’t get is why one race has only one class, and vice-versa. Why even call it a class?

Isn’t evoker busted af? I see them do absolutely insane single target damage on keys. I’m honestly thinking of making one.
I think it’s their awkward play style that’s keeping people from playing them.

Now that I’ve been in Valdrakken long enough, I don’t see why they didn’t go with the four model as an option. I love the concept they went with, but it just feels like somethings missing (besides proper clothes- even if it’s just chest armor).
I play Preservation, but lemme tell ya, 10.0 Evoker was insane in both specs. In 10.1, the range on Preservation Evoker leaves A LOT to be desired. It’s just not good enough on some fights. I’m swapping over to Resto Shaman because of it.
