Nobody in the dev team for WoW cares about Lore anymore

Draenei themselves I don’t have much of an issue with being warlocks. It’s the Lightforged that don’t make any sense what-so-ever.
I would go as far as to completely reskin away all shadow spells from any class a Lightforged can be(except DK, since they’re undead).

if only u put this amount of whining in toward a promotion at work huh

I mean, it doesn’t hurt that Blizz is known for below industry average wages in that number.

Go play CoD if you’re not interested in lore.
RPGs would be much better off without you, I can assure you.

When’s the last time the devs cared about the lore?

No kidding. Though, it does make me sad to know that some talented devs are leaving just because the pay increase won’t be matched – plus, that’s a life-changing amount of money, so it’s hard to actually pass it up.

May not be luxury, but it’s able to buy and secure comfort.

The only place I can actually find this to be factual is on the forums.

As in. Per Blizzard Employees, Per reported industry standard rates…it is not true.

But per forum posters, its “well known”.

I could like many things that temp me ,even subdue me,but that doesn’t mean their good in a story even from a creator.

The irony is that Cataclysm marked them opening up a large number of race-class combos, which coincidentally marked the steady decline of WoW subscribers. It would be naive to pin the blame solely on that, but I think it’s certainly something to consider.

“Competitive wages” can be anything under 50% of a competitor.

And outside of that, having worked in CS call centers in Austin, I know Blizz was known to pay less than standard even in TX, so it’s not just some made up things…

Can be “shadow” priests!

Hmm,that could be with melee attacks.

Have even a single one of those chosen or even been allowed to stick around with Velen’s crew? I’m pretty sure the answer is no.

Draenei getting warlocks is fine, but it should come with a mandatory red skin customization to indicate they are former Man’ari.

Let me know when you do this, so I can keep an eye out for the inevitable TikTok that shows up on Reddit, okies? Those are lulzy to watch.

Because priest is a mess of class lore on its own and it would be silly to lock them away from holy which is a core piece of Light-related fantasy. No Lightforged shadow priests actually exist in the same way no void elf holy priests actually exist, but it would be silly to lock them out of the only void spec in the entire game.

At least one spec on a class has to make sense for it to be remotely acceptable to handwave the inclusion. Not a single spec of warlock makes sense for a Lightforged Draenei.

That sounds exactly like Vanilla Warlock lore. And I see nothing wrong with it.

you’re just buying over price burgers if you go there now.

Yes he is back. I said on one of my YT channels that I thought he was coming back as there were rumors of Thrall coming back, he voiced and does 100% of the lore for Thrall and is still the only person contracted to do so, so it Thrall is back, so is Metzen.

They can be defiant all they like. That’s up to the world builders to write into NPC reactions or quests etc. Or mention in the latest novel or some crap. But as an MMO, the NPCs will not attack you on sight for being a Warlock. They don’t do it to the Orcs, Humans, Dwarves, or Gnomes. Because they’re using the dark magic for good reasons. You get a pass, because you’re an exception to the rule as Azeroth’s champion.
