You only have 10 posts…are you sure you remember correctly?
No no, just a high elf that stuck to his actual name and “just uses void magic”
I’m not the one refusing to look at the official description of blood elves, in the official page in the website, where it says that they are High Elves who honor their fallen brethren
My comeback is that they’ve already added the high elf skin. They just need to add the hair colors next. Don’t even need to add in new hair styles.
A few random elements do apparently make up a playable allied race though.
And yet they’ve added High elf skin to Void elves for people who want to roleplay as High elves. We’re already at that compromise point. It’s just another half-measure by this point not to add hair colors.
That’s what this entire argument is about, by the way. I’m not arguing with you on void elf lore, it’s irredeemable garbage to begin with. This is just distracting from the main point.
Sure, why don’t you? People roleplay that sort of stuff all the time.
That was the compromise.
Period. End of sentence.
Next up we have Void Elf customizations incoming; more news at 11.
Like what in the world makes you think or anyone else think you’re entitled to two visual themes in their entirety when the original main theme belongs to Blood Elves already?
No, they don’t “need” to make things worse.
Or rather, that’s what those who wanted to take the race the Horde has had since 2006 would like to think.
It still would make more sense than saying “Void elves are just blood elves that use void magic”.
Oh…aren’t you the one who brought it up? And now that you’re corrected you’re trying to change the direction?
roflmao
Hair colors aren’t a theme. Or else Blood elves stole from humans by having red and brown hair.
I thought Void Elves were the compromise and skins were the first caving in to one side
Yes ignore the mountain of facts for one paragraph.
They couldnt give HE to the horde straight out because they wouldn’t fit and players would never buy it. They had to go with a version that shed their former image to become morally questionable, like almost every race on the Horde. Horde players still got annoyed at blizz for watering down the horde.
So what? The reality is that the majority of Horde players love Blood Elves.
Void elves were like giving diet coke to someone who asked for a pepsi. It wasn’t a compromise, it was just being obstinate about what people asked for.
They did.
They didn’t, they honor their past.
Please, tell me more of your mountain of facts
A paragraph that it’s very relevant.
They did though.
Ha! Saying high elves in wow were always morally pure.
Hahahahahahahaha.
My witch’s cackle it’s being heard all the way to Peru right now.
It’s almost like you believe only helfer views about Void Elves mattered. What about the other people who just love them for what they are?
Well, yeah. When you’re a petty greedy person anything less than exactly what you want is unacceptable.
And a diet coke instead of a pepsi can be a compromise if that’s the closest thing you have available.
But it wasn’t the closest thing that was available. Silver Covenant High elves were right there.
That is like having a freezer filled with pepsis the person asked for.
As someone with 4 younger brothers and that has babysat 3 of them… I can confirm that this sort of attitude it’s not limited to only greedy people…
…>.>…<.<…>.>…
Perhaps, I would have accepted Blizzard simply saying new Void Elves were coming from the Wayfarers with no sharing of new skintones with them.
My main want for the HE fans was just lore background for their Void Elf to come from a High Elf. I assumed they wouldn’t do that so a HE AR of its own seemed decent to support with the model changes.
Either way for me, I feel a compromise for people who kept hating the fact their Void Elf background was former Blood Elves, was reached.
And knowing the state of core races feeling lack luster, and seeing literally seeing how they could give the HE community this win and have no big win for Blood Elf fans, I am very soured towards people who still want even more of this already heavily skewed compromise if you want to call it that I guess.
Well if you’re going to be picky. This is more like if someone offered you a pepsi like it’s always been available but you’re refusing it because it’s during a sports season and the seasonal label doesn’t have the right team on it.
