Then they should have just replaced everybody’s original mounts with the new graphics. They added new moounts, and changing was the player’s choice, therefore it was not just a graphics update.
And yet people did rush to 60 in vanilla, and did get the original epic mounts, or we wouldn’t even be talking about this issue. If Blizzard doesn’t want anyone rushing to 60, for whatever reason, they would have to implement time-gated leveling.
Neither of your arguments stands up to the slightest bit of consideration.
There are just a lot of reasons to add these mounts and not many real reasons to remove them. Most of the reasons to remove them given are easily remedied.
I though since I’d have a high level alt first I could use it to run some early-level dungeons for my main. I’ve always wanted the whole defias set but the chest drops really rarely. I could always transfer the hunter onto my main account after.
Look. I love unarmored sabers and would love to have a chance to own one. I was one of the 1st ppl on this forum if not the
first to ask about this, months ago.
Ultimately however, it’s a small matter. I am much more upset about cross realm BGs. I was really looking forward to playing with and against skilled players that I saw over and over.
Accept it. You can’t fight The Man. We are getting a solid version of Classic, so unless something is game breaking, live with it and try to relax.
That’s something I often think about. Old AV, the old mounts, progressive patches and itemization and no CRBGs. I can understand that much of that is because blizzard wants to cut corners, and honestly that’s understandable, but that’s also why it’s so frustrating when they take out content that’s zero effort for them to include.
