No Tinker Class, Feels like we need a New Class TBH

We won’t be getting a new class again. It’s just too much work for a game that might collapse at this stage.

Geez what a downer.

I assure you If WoW was close to failing, we wouldn’t have gotten another expansion.

The Higher-ups at Actiblizz aren’t gonna keep funding a game if it isn’t printing money for them. I assure you WoW is still successful.

The most successful expansions all had new classes. This would be like saying we won’t see any new generations of Iphone.

Mechagon doesn’t mean much when we still have Undermine.

But I just took a Tinker a few minutes ago or Summting?

What if we get invaded by Yrel’s Lightbound army? That army utilizes advanced Naaru technology.

Good point! Gnomes finally get a new home and we go back to Kezan. Perhaps Undermine will be next? Maybe both Undermine and Mechagon City will play an important role, in 10.0, maybe even becoming capitals!

The perfect opportunity for the introduction of Tinker!

There are plenty of Expansion Ideas where we could get Tinkers:

Keep in mind, In Mists of Pandaria, we got Monks. But Monks weren’t the focus of the plot. Most of Pandaria was tied into the Faction War and the Old Gods. Monks were just the set dressing.

Tinkers could be added into an expansion with only a loose connection, we don’t need a full Goblins vs Gnomes expansion.

That being said, I would absolutely love a Goblins vs Gnomes expansion.

You can’t honestly be this short sighted…

New classes fulfill a playstyle, fantasy, thematic story. Do you think Arthas, Jaina, Varian, Thrall etc… are just one class? You really want a game where everyone plays a paladin and only and forever a paladin? Sounds sooo much fun. Why not make the whole game painted black and white while we’re at it, because we’ll NEVER balance the colors just right…

You nailed it!

Class, race, professions and cosmetics. These are what keep me playing. If new content isn’t that interesting, I just go play in a different zone.

I want to get lost in the Warcraft Universe. The Warcaft universe isn’t always favorable … but I still want to enjoy my character. Unfortunately, some of the races are truly lacking a class that is so intertwined in their culture. And sometimes a new class comes along that fits with a specific race that I wouldn’t normally play and it forces me out of my comfort zone. But I get to experience something new!

Alots of Potential for a New Class that should have been in Shadowlands but nope. Remember No Race or Class in WoD Folks? Yea not a great time to be a wow fan back then.

You hit the nail on the head with this.

Warcraft is completely full of unique fantasy archetypes, and it sucks that there are some that the players simply can’t embody.

Considering BFA had entire zones focused around technology, Tinker NPCs we could meet, 2 separate dungeons with Tinker bosses, and even made an entirely new Tutorial island with a Tinker Character already there, I expected Tinkers to be next. But Here we are, another expansion that feels barren, like WoD.

I kinda would just like Blizzard to be honest. I really think that Tinkerer was in some development and they axed it to concentrate and balance covenants. I get it, covenants are ridiculous to balance. I think at this juncture Blizzard needs to stop betting all their money on grind systems to extend content to a bizarre degree and get back to treating the players like customers instead of targets to trick into grinding stuff.

One of the most irksome things this expansion was lvling up your covenant with renown.
They advertise that when you reach different tiers of renown, you get cosmetic rewards and mounts. Only to find out when you get there, they LIE to your face and then tell you that you get the priviledge to grind your rear off and maybe then you can buy it.
