No Timewalking Turn-in Item

I have one toon in my stable, level 80, that for the past 3 TWing events hasn’t gotten the item to turn in for the timewalking badges. Just the one character, so far. I’ve scoured her inventory for ALL the different items that can drop & I don’t have any of them from previous weeks that might be causing an issue. She doesn’t have any quest, either, from previous weeks. Nothing has come in the mail, either.

Is that character level 30 or above? There was a change made during the anniversary event that requires you to be a certain level before getting those quest items.

Level 80. Most of my alts are 60 or above

Usually it means you already have a copy of the item sitting around somewhere on that toon be it in there bags or bank. Sometimes it blends in while enough with other items sitting in a bank.

This. It’s caught me so many times, I’m embarrassed every time it happens.

I had an 80 not get the item during Classic TW who had never even done Classic TW before, so it definitely happens sometimes.

I’m not sure what part of “I scoured my bags & bank for all of the potential items that can drop and there are none” you missed but that’s what I did. Her bags & bank are practically empty so I couldn’t miss them if I tried.

Which quest and item are you referring to? Is this on this character or a different once?

Well, since what you said was

You never actually said bank.

I’ve not gotten ANY of the drops that are the quest item(s) for the past 3 TWing events that result in receiving Timewarped Badges such as the Shimmering Timewarped Crystal, Ember, etc. I’ve checked all of the toon’s inventory (bank & bags) for any of them to make sure I’ve not missed a turn in somewhere. Nada.

It is for an alt on this account, not this toon in particular.

You’ll want to name the character in question.

It would be more beneficial to Vrakthris if you could name the character who is having the issue, that way he can check to see if anything in particular stands out for the character that could be a cause for the issue.

It’s clear you missed it, but simply because it was asked for. If there was no intent to look deeper and see if it was something that could be handled on the surface, there would have been no asking for it.

Knowing details about the character is also a datapoint that will help them pinpoint the issue. I see in the Bug Report forum that a commonality of affected characters is a level boost, but since OP hasn’t provided anything, that can’t be corroborated here.

Then why even bother posting here? Just post in the bug report forum and go on with your life if you dont care to try and seek help.

It’s clear you missed it, but this has been an issue for months so they have plenty of data points, but here we are still.

I don’t believe Vrakthris works on the weekends, but despite so, he was offering his time to Fyfox.

No one ever said he didn’t look in his bags. If an item is invisible to the player even using the search button won’t find it. There have been numerous times where items have been invisible to a player but visible to a GM/SFA which is why they asked for a character so they could take a look.

I get you’re frustrated about the situation, but not even working with staff trying to help isn’t going to get anything solved any faster.

It may seem common, but it’s really not that common. I personally haven’t had any issues and neither have my friends. While there are topics, there isn’t an overwhelming amount of them which points more to this being a finickier bug. Getting info on the characters having the bug is important.
