On August 23, 2013, Blizzard Entertainment announced that the TCG would be discontinued, and that they would not be renewing the game’s license.

They can still add the items in some other form if they wanted to. Doesn’t look like it’s happening though

the funny thing is that this is something they would 100% do, especially with hearthstone classic format that came out this year.
While I don’t own any TCG Rewards I can super sympathize with people who do. These items were apart of the experience for some when they first played and its a shame they won’t be able to enjoy them in the rerelease.

Funny thing is i just confirmed he (Lando) was in the beta yesterday and started looking for an old code or two.
They obviously still have the toys as they are (datamined possibly) adding two of them to the CE. I see two possibilities here:

Lando is turned into a “black market AH” type deal. He sells the CE stuff as a gold sink. They did say he may be repurposed, and this HAS been requested.

The doomsday shop people are correct and blizz adds all the TGC stuff to the shop. Though it won’t be AS doomsday as claimed if it was only this stuff as it was already in game during TBC, technically.
And? The cards are still usable on retail, so why are they gone from TBC Classic?
I have the tigers and they’re account wide on live, so why can’t I use them in TBC?

Landro Longshot will not offer WoW Trading Card Game code redemption.
- Developers’ notes: We don’t intend for the Burning Crusade Classic to make duplicate use of WoW TCG codes, nor do we want players who have unredeemed codes to choose between games for redemption. Landro Longshot may be repurposed in Burning Crusade Classic for a different use, but that will not be related to the WoW TCG.

This is a feedback thread. I’d like to see the TCG rewards continued in classic TBC. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t be. This is my feedback. Clear enough for you yet?

landro could sell them for like 50k a pop, remove some of that excess gold in the game

The number of people who still have cards with UNSPENT codes (not saying I doubt you have one like that, but, ok I do) is so small it really does not warrant development time being taken away from the bigger bugs and features that need to be fleshed out.
You have the mount in retail. . That is awesome. I am a little jealous, but at least you have it from back in the day.
