Hello everyone, I noticed my Dracthyr has no audio when in Dracthyr form, however it’s all fine when it goes to Visage form.

Yea I noticed this yesterday too.
Its very off putting having zero voicelines.
You don’t realize how important “I don’t have a target” is until you don’t have it

I’ve noticed that my female Dracthyr also makes male sounds whenever getting injured

Probably figured noone would willingly stay in the form so Noone would notice.

-female dracthyr have a male voice in dragon form, if you ever played a female evoker in dragon form you the female dragon noises in combat sound very different than the male ones.
-no voice emotes in dragon form
-no voice lines, like don’t have a target, not enough rage, ect.
I noticed this in PTR but thought they would of fixed it. Why was this pushed to live?
Not having voice lines on your dragon kind semi ruins the experience of being a dragon and also having a male voice for combat sounds on a female. For example if you heroic leap the yell sounds very male.

could’ve very well been that everyone thought it would get fixed, nobody reported it, and Blizz just never noticed
although that is one wild assumption
I think nobody at Blizz noticed somehow is just what happened
or maybe procrastination moment took over

My female dracthyr warrior having a male voice makes me not want to play it till this is fixed.

I have been in Visage form just to have voice lines which feels pretty bad considering I race changed from blood elf to be a Dracthyr.
I reported it in 3 separate bugs reports on ptr: certain abilities not playing the hit sound, emote sounds not playing at all, and combat sounds playing only male.

Why would you make a dracthyr, but then spend all of your time in human/elf? Wouldn’t you just make a human/elf?

My guess is they prefer the horned elf/human customisation options more than regular human/elf, or maybe they like the racials that come with drachtyr but don’t like the drachtyr model or maybe they really enjoy transmog and they can’t transmog on the drachtyr model.
Fair few reasons they might do it.
For me I’ve rolled drachtyr because that’s all evoker can be, probably changing mains next season though. I like transmog and this class limits my access to that portion of the game.

I have noticed this as well as the no voice lines (disappointing). Not really too keen on her sounding like an ogre when she gets hit. If Alexstrasa can have a female voice, mine needs to have one too.
Bumping this because it’s been almost 2 weeks since the last comment and this still hasn’t been fixed
