And what was a lie this time…?
Yep, I think Arena is a special case. It’s in a bad state and it’s an important part of the TBC experience. I do think having an arena only spec is probably a worthwhile intervention.
Have you actually gone back and read your posts?
I’d let a “PvP instance only” spec fly, probably.
I mean I’m pretty sure I…wrote them all. So I guess I have read them as sort of a requirement to that.
See, they say things like this, but I’m also a Druid. I’m just acknowledging the truth of the matter.
Novokaine, you could easily switch between Fire and Frost and have the best both worlds. Means for TK, for instance, you won’t be limited. When fighting Al’ar you can go Frost before switching back to Fire for the rest of the instance. Or do Arcane or whatever. It accentuates what you can provide even as a pure DPS class.
I really don’t think you have.
I really do think that this line of questioning seems rather pointless because I know you aren’t actually going to elaborate on this “you’re a psychopath” point, and it’s basically just a distraction from the actual discussion because you’re a lvl 10 mage with 3568 posts, so everyone with functioning eyes can see what your actual purpose is here.
When the original Devs discussed respec costs and brought up arena they cited that it was a very small population (as opposed to dual spec breaking design intent in that case). For them it just wasn’t a priority.
I think now, we could maintain a case that increasing arena participation is a good goal and that a specialised instance spec in this case only doesn’t break the original design goals of the game - it fits into somechanges potentially. I’m not fully convinced but I can see a case for it. I don’t think it’s any more immersion breaking than not being able to use engineering bombs #becausearena. It’s a self contained ruleset already.
Deflection is regression. Don’t throw all your progress out the window now.
I think it’s fair. It’s about participation without compromising the game.
A month later and the same handful of people still arguing about this.
You’re clearly not going to see eye to eye. Just let it go lol
Lol we actually just sort of did … for the first time in … like ever!
Your timing is terrible - amusingly so.
No offende intended. Just you could have said that at any other point in this thread and been correct. Except now where we’ve actually found some common ground.
Stop clipping your shots, man!
The thing is there was no “original devs” and “not original devs”, at best you can say some of the original devs didn’t want dual spec but there were also plenty of devs who did. That respeccing even existed shows the original devs definitely were okay with the basic concept.
Never really thought of it that way, but it makes sense!
You should never agree with these degenerates, ever
Coming from the guy under the delusion that I work for WoW just because I give advice to people here, this means a lot!
Watch them DPS parses, Vardus. Don’t clip your shots!
Lol that clown still responding to me even though he’s been blocked for months.
I really enjoy seeing the hidden posts <3 you wasting your time is great.
You know as well I as I do you still read my posts, Vardus.
There’s an addon that’ll stop you from clipping your shots. You should look into it. Just some friendly advice from someone who has played a Hunter.
I can click unhide and read your drivel if I choose too
Who the hell is Vardus, you’re thinking of my main, Vorban
While you’re stalking my logs online, why don’t you actually look at them instead of making up some drivel about clipping shots? Check my 95 parse on Nightbane.
Feel free to post your better parse, I’ll wait.
