No, seriously, we REALLY don't all want Dual Spec in TBC

You just take his word for gospel when it suits you.

When it doesn’t suit you, irrelevant.

Read the ENTIRETY of what you linked.

I REALLY wish I would have archived the thread where you lied and said something along the lines of:

Ghostcrawler also said they’d NEVER nerf Cata Heroics under any circumstance and then they did!

Bzzzz wrong.

They nerfed everything from top to bottom, even the trash.

This is directly after saying GIT GUD to all the complainers.

Read the whole quote you dingbat:

We also just tend to nerf content over time because the original players hitting that content have moved on, so we want to open it up to a wider audience.

In the very same post where he explains ways to tackle harder content (he didn’t insult people unless you’re super thin skinned), he also notes that some bosses appear to be deadlier than others and that they generally nerf things progressively once the initial crowd rolls on through.

You’re being a very poor troll.

Found the cached thread that is now deleted:

Yeah, Aeonns just makes stuff up on a whim.

They nerfed it right after that made that blog post lol.

We won’t nerf it because of player complaints… what’s that dev team? We already nerfed it?

What he’s talking about in regards to nerfing over time is a gradual slow nerfing of the content, not an all at once neutering of all the heroics.

But sure, twist that around and turn it somehow into proof that Ghostcrawler doesn’t talk drivel.

Something similar:

He. Literally. Says. They. Progressively. Nerf. Things. Over. Time.

You… you’re new to the game aren’t you? When they’ve ever done progressive nerfing, it has been systemic reductions in health, damage, and severity. Anyone who was at the cusp of beating that content suddenly feels like it was a joke, anyone that was struggling now struggles less, that’s how it always has been.

u must not pvp

No hurdles have been added, this is the was it was.
You realize that what you are asking for takes away from the folks who want to play the game as it was. You already have those features in the other game version. I find that to be selfish. What you should be asking for is classic plus with all the QOL junk you love.

I have Horde characters on their server for RP. Horde is almost non existent on Bloodsail. If they wanted a decent queue, this isn’t the place for that. And it’s too bad, it’s a nice server.

Anyone playing the game can easily “cope” with everything the game throws at us. But since it’s a game that people play for fun people make choices for the fun of it. I got paid to do things that aren’t fun. It’s called work and I “coped” well enough to retire at 62, buy 10 acres of land and move to Arizona.

We want dual spec to make the game more fun for most people. Directly by increasing our options to have fun playing more parts of the game and indirectly by increasing the number of tanks and healers and making it easier for dps to find groups. Everyone even if they don’t buy dual spec benefits

A point most people seem to forget. They don’t look at it as if they’re playing TBC. In their minds they’re playing Shadowlands capped at 70, and it should have all the conveniences that the Retail game has. Nevermind the fact all those conveniences still don’t keep those people from leaving the game.

Look, there’s nothing inherently bad about a time in WoW’s history when your choice of spec was more meaningful. The game was simply designed differently back then. The devs thought that choice was important enough to have inconveniences in place so players couldn’t constantly switch back and forth. That’s how the devs of the time wanted the game to operate. ‘Better’ or ‘worse’ are meaningless words that people here obsess over. It was simply different. And it’s those differences that set the two games apart that allow two vastly different experiences, and that’s a GOOD thing. The more the two games become the same, the worse for both. Because, by comparison, players will naturally start looking at every little inconvenience and comparing it to Retail and say, ‘But in Shadowlands I don’t have to jump these hurdles!!’ And then change after change and we march right down the same path we already did.

TBC means TBC. It’s up to the players to adapt to the game, not the other way around. Sadly, Blizz did pretty much abandon that philosophy, so it makes sense why these entitled players are making these kinds of demands. But it’s not too late to fix the dam before it completely unleashes.

That’s simply not true. You’re either not bothering to read the forums or you don’t read well enough to see what’s happening. There have been posts asking for more paid boosts, posts asking for transmog, even posts asking for a barber shop which has zero affect on game play and is just an appearance change. And many more requests for changes. None of them get much support. Very few people even post in most of those threads. Rarely do they get more than a few dozen replies. You’re deluded if you think most people think BC should have all the conveniences of retail.

Dual spec has more threads than any of them. Each thread gets hundreds, even thousands of replies. The only change requested that comes close to having as much support as dual spec is horde vs horde battlegrounds.

Remember, Feywaif, Nerrick has repeatedly said he doesn’t even play the game. He basically pays for an account just to post here. :man_shrugging:

He barely played Classic either. He used to post anti-classic rhetoric on a retail character named Mogar. He ended up quitting Classic at level 40 or something and then he headed back to retail forums to complain about retail until he stopped posting there too.

How do I know? He harassed Ziryus about being a “Wall of No” poster nearly every chance he could get. It’s how I always found him on his posting alts; he would always post the same accusation over and over, for years.

Still doing it, and I’m still calling out his hypocrisy.

One would think if that’s all he does he’d have a better idea about what happens here. He really doesn’t have a clue.

Glad I’m paying attention, then.

Did you play Cata? I did.

They nerfed things over time like when a new tier came out they nerfed the previous one.

They stated they wouldn’t nerf heroics, then nerfed heroics straight away.

How much more blatant can you get?

Get your head outta the sand son

Yup.

That’s almost exactly what I said.

This is false.

This is also false. They nerfed them, but not straight away.

Bad troll is bad.
