Some changes doesn’t mean ALL the changes, nor does it mean “just the changes you want”.
We have had to deal with some really bad changes with blizzard money grabbing store mount and boosts, that DOES NOT mean we want more bad changes like dual spec.
It’s already some changes, that means we don’t need to add more changes to make it some changes. Blizzard has already met their goal of some changes and do not need to meddle any further for it to be some changes.
If the lack of dual spec is such a game breaker for you wait until wrath classic, or go to retail. Heck you can go to one of those private servers that do have dual spec if you want, though I’m not advising you to do so, but don’t ruin tbcc any more than it already has been.
People hear what they want to hear and ignore the rest. That’s why you’re wrong. Blizzard told us that more changes are coming. It may be dual spec, it may not, but if you’ve been paying attention to the devs you should expect more changes. It’s not some secret, you shouldn’t be surprised. They’ve been very clear on this, more changes are coming.
If you’re unhappy that more changes are coming you can always unsub. I’m sure there’s a game out there that never changes. I pretty sure pong is still the same game I played 60 years ago without a single change. Maybe that’s the game for you.
It is the general understanding of anyone that’s listened to what the Devs have said (rather than what they want to hear) that at any time throughout the remaining life of TBCC, we can and should expect changes as Blizzard sees fit to address problems based on Blizzard’s own metrics and player feedback.
My understanding of the devs stating some changes is that there will be some changes. But that seems to be all you heard. Most likely because you didn’t like what else they said. I actually listened to everything they said. When the devs said more changes are coming my understanding was that more changes would be coming.
I guess it’s just my imagination that had class design from tbc to wrath had a lot of of changes that made all the classes more similar, took away a lot of unique debuffs, buffs, exc. to make the game more about bringing the player, not the class. I guess I just imagined that design change that makes dual spec fit wrath design a heck if a. Lot better than it would tbc design.
It must be my imagination that the devs are on record stating “bring the player not the class” when discussing wrath, yet they never used that to describe tbc.
That doesn’t mean they are going to make changes because changes were made though.
Each change made should be based on their individual merits, and dual spec hurts the game in multiple ways that go against the origional design of tbc. You wanting it isn’t enough reason to damage the game.
If it’s such a big deal for you, go play on the private servers that have it, wait for wrath, or go play retail. You have options that don’t ruin tbcc for others.
That’s already been proved wrong by Delimicus and his links to GC’s posts and interviews. You keep claiming to know what the devs thought at the time but I doubt you even bothered to read them.
I’m doing exactly what the devs asked the players to do. When they said more changes are coming they also asked for player feedback on what changes the players would like to see. You probably didn’t hear them say that either. You filter everything through your bias and only hear what confirms it. When it comes to the future of this game the only people I care about is the devs, what they say and think.
I suggest you read the entirety of that post before thinking it proves the previous things you’ve said even a little bit right.
It’s unfortunate that the thread where you said something along the lines of “Ghostcrawler said they’ve NEVER nerf Cataclysm Heroics and then HE DID!” is gone. I gotta start archiving some of these threads.
