That’s cause there isn’t.
Its a prime of example of why you need a threat of force for people to just do the right thing unfortunately. If there was not a risk of getting perma banned people would be botting lag switching left and right in rated its just the sad state of human nature.
Because without it you have what unrated pvp has devolved into a bunch of people abusing systems to their own advantage to try and get ahead of everyone else (even though most of them will never catch me or people like me).
And now we don’t have it because blizzard seemingly doesn’t really care about unrated pvp which has given the greenlight to all the unsavory people that they can just abuse the systems with reckless abandon with no consequence.
And so when no higher authority is coming to brutally crackdown on the people doing the wrong thing well then that leaves everyone to fend for themselves (anarchy) which is basically where the self destructive self sabotaging state of human nature is on full display where everyone is in an arms race to see who can go lower.
And everyone splits into their tribes (premades). And just like that we’ve returned to monkey.
And then before you know it everyone is at rock bottom and you have basically a cesspit.
Whoa what bg did you Que into that has 15 healers? A 250v250?
If only a game had, and could handle, cool battles like that - I’d want to be there!

Why is it in Blitz Brawl the matches always start with the same number of players but we can’t do the same for regular BGs?

Non-issue.
Premade raids have plenty of healers. It’s one of the advantages they often have over random pug teams.
During bc wrath and cata I was in a raid guild. We were pretty solid team. Good people and when we weren’t raiding we pvpd. So we would always have like 3-5 players queing in random bgs. And that was fun for a lot of reasons. But we never were a community. We never Que synch with other teams. We didn’t super saturate bgs and use comms for an advantage. And I think that’s a fine line between playing socially with friends and ruining the entire PvP landscape by exploiting a design flaw in the game. There has to be a way to let friends and guilds play in little groups. Taking advantage of Que synching is garbage. Playing with friends is fun….but Que synching with other groups to gain advantage over players is garbage! Only garbage players do that. And there is no other way to state this. Losers and garbage players Que synch! I might be off peoples

Funny thing just happened.
I was in queue for about 12 minutes waiting for that Blitz Brawl cooking battleground.
It finally popped, and right when I entered it said DEFEATED. Yea, I literally waisted 12+ minutes in queue to enter a BG that was already over and I didn’t even get in fast enough to receive the crappy honor.
Talk about busted.
A bunch of random players with 2 heals vs a gladiator geared team in voice chat is not fun. A lot of the time, the random players don’t even speak the same language, so if they did all use voice chat, that wouldn’t work. It’s just not fun to see Enfers or Auggy over and over trolling the epic BG’s. Kick them out and make them play other pvp communities. Oh wait, when that happens they all leave the BG.
Good question. I guess they would need to implement the same ready check process. But I think a lot of solo players stopped playing regular BGs because of the premades in them.
