I say things like, “please stop using knockbacks,” and then I bail and requeue as DPS when they keep using knockbacks.
That would inspire me to talk more. I am very spiteful, genetic defect I think.
Hard to type if you’re fighting stuff, chief.
the looking for raids is where all the chats are i see. especially lately since tanks like to leave on one wipe so we wait play with our toys and chat then some jerk places a toy train set if it takes too long lol
Some epics talking may get you /afk voted out. The irony of /afk vote kick while typing in chat is one of the more “interesting” features of pvp.
Less talking…more fighting!!!
Dude…this winter grasp is done. 4 minutes left…we ain’t breaking walls even if we shift this from 4 to 12 vehicles (as if we could in first place, this went to crap 10 minutes ago). its now chill time and shoot the crap.
load screen…
okay…
Only if they’re being annoying.
90-95% of kicks I see are people going against the grain, or generally being a pain and deserve it.
I learnt not to say a word. Not even hi. Chances are you will have at least that one person who will tell you off for some reason or try and get you removed.
I won’t even talk in general chats in case of false reporting. It’s almost the same as making a new thread on here and getting flag bombed because people don’t like the topic/agree.
Moderation of anything Blizz is gone. It’s a free for all most of the time.
These days yes. There was a time I met friends this way. Even with all the cross server pug stuff. Community going down like Blizz stock and player base.
/hug I’m sorry you had to go through that.
There’s that wonderful WoW community spirit we’ve all come to love!
“Hi everyone.”
I was not very nice or into conversation when I was 9 either. Children folks, your average wow player now days.
I’ve stopped trying to communicate in instanced groups because I’ve noticed others can just be really rude. Im not sure if it’s always been this way or I’ve just sadly grown up a little and understood it better. Either way, I hope you find good groups!
I’m talking on discord man. I greet people when they join the group. >.>
I usually don’t bother reading chat, once the event starts I focus on the Spotify music
I would’ve voted yes as well for the lols
Lmao. No one ever got kicked for just saying “hi”. The general rule is you say “hi” and “ty”. That’s it. Dungeon over.
You just answered your own question.
Slower paced gameplay invites conversations. Fast gameplay doesn’t. Here’s a 100 things to do today. GOGOGO and don’t forget to stop and chat for awhile /s.
That is case by case.
I know for pvp I see some regulars so there is some “rep” as it were.
I see player X in the list and posting up a strat I go I know this dude.
Yep…we doing this strat. this guy/girl…has gotten me wins.
Or nope. One or 2 alliance peeps I see the post their strat…I do the exact opposite. they like 2 tower AV. which can work. If…
you have 3/4 real tanks. solid real healers (not mdps like say feral druid checked off healer). Have this? I have seen 2 towers work for the win.
Have 1 tank…1 real healer and the rest are confused off spec melee heals and ghetto frost DK tank…this does not end well.
Although it is humorous to watch if you are the other side. I love watching 2 tower runs fail as a stealthy. POst up the intel in chat and go
you got time boys…they wipe worse each time they try.
I get that this game can make cynics out of almost anybody, but voting people out because they communicate in a group setting just sounds wrong to me.
I would love a server without LFG, LFR, and LFD. Also no cross-realm play. The server would be small but it would be good with a solid community.
Joined one LFG and this group stayed near the instance and just slowly farming and no heals. tank replied.
If you do not like it then just leave. Some BOA run we did.
That was the weirdest LFG group I ever joined.
