I use old flight about 90% of the time.
The only thing that I use Dragonriding for is when I am traveling large distances… at least a half a zone but usually longer.

I use old school flight pretty much every time I play. It is 100% superior for gathering. I only use dragon riding when I am traveling between two points and I will not be gathering alone the way.

I always find it very weird when people are more concerned on what others are doing in the game over playing the game.

I use both situationally. It’s really nice to have OPTIONS. When I am questing in a small area, normal flying is easier to use. Or, as happens a lot, I need to go WAY up and run out of vigor, so I swap to normal so I don’t have to wait on the side of a cliff.
A LOT of people use Both and SOME people don’t use dragon riding AT ALL. I think you are just making things up so you have something to complain about. My 75 year old mother does the same thing…
I’m enjoying using the old way of flight, so much more relaxing. Why the rush?

Personally, I just dont want to do pathfinder, should of just unlocked it normally…
infact it should of never been restricted.

I’ve been using normal flying and I’ve seen others use it as well especially during public events, because it’s easier to get around short distances without waisting vigor.

actually it does mean its not true. their personal experience is not the experience of everyone so to make a bold statement that no one uses old world flying is false. false means untrue.
Not exactly. It’s just a matter of empirical vs anecdotal evidence. Both are important. Without referring to anecdotal evidence researches would have no basis to perform experiments. An apple fell on my head is anecdotal evidence that gravity exists.
Anecdotal evidence isn’t “not true”. It just doesn’t prove something objectively.
At the same time - I think common sense is important. Obviously people use old world flying even if this guy hasn’t seen it.

How does it affect you? Just don’t use it if you don’t like it, no big deal. Personally I use both dragon-riding and regular flying frequently every day. Both are useful to me in different situations. Why have access to only one, when you can have both?
