Me too, who wouldn’t?
Yeah the armory is known to be accurate at all times.
It doesn’t matter who is using it or not; both forms of flying should have been available at the start of Dragonfail.
I’m going too fast on my dragon to see them.
I use old flying when something is close.
If I need to get across the map in 10 seconds, then I hop on my dragon.
I use flight form exclusively unless I need to literally fly across the entire continent.
I’d love to hear the stats to back up the OP’s post. It sounds like it’s based only on what mounts people are using while standing around in Valdrakken. I’m not sure why anyone would think that is a good indicator.
Imma steal this meme lol.
Candy cooooooorn.
Takes the entire bag from you and use it to make candy corn fudge pumpkin pie.
The OP
It’s hard to see them at 800% speed, but they’re out there.
I use it to get to treasures that Blizzard intentionally put in irritating places. Everything has a use.
Where? I’ve genuinely seen no one use it, and I know people who have it unlocked.
I use old flying every day, because it’s more convenient and i miss my mount collection. I only really use dragon riding when I’m in a big hurry to get from A to B.
Maybe people see the new mounts more then the old because our graphics cards prioritize them that way.
Try this, find a football field in WoW somewhere…Oops, I mean elf hockey, have 2 guildies stand at one end, one on a old mount and one on a new mount, then back away and see which one disappears first when its no longer in draw distance range. Then do opposite and see which one you see first when they are in range.
My theory is, when you arrive in Valdraken and look around, you see the new mounts first because your graphics card is told by wow to draw them first, and then you fly off somewhere and never see many of the old ones.
Either that or the guy some of us have been paying 200K gold a day to fly in circles over Thaldraszus on old mounts to make it look like we use them isn’t doing his job.
yay ill give it to our favorite hunter qamaits.
huh?
what?
Like many others, I flip between them.
Auction House in Valdrakken to Leatherworking Table in Valdrakken? Old flying.
Dream Camp to the raid? New flying.
Old flying is also better for precision flying.
A good example is the border of Oh’naren Plains and Waking Shores, with the waterfalls going down the cliffs. There’s a bunch of world quests there (including racing), expedition scout packs, and pet battles, and it was always a royal pain to do with new flying.
I use it constantly
Why do you hate me?
Not true. I use both regularly.
Apparently 48% of the game does. Bigger question is why do you care what others do so much? Not like Blizzard had to spend significant effort to add something that already existed.
