No one hated Jaina

The night elves are not extinct. They were enough to beat up the Horde at Darkshore and Stormwind was full of refugees.

Literally, what I said. Reading comprehension is something both you and Treng seem to struggle with.

That’s pretty much true for all of the books and novellas they’ve written since the Shattering.

World DLC is cheap to produce though.

I’m not making any assumptions about what they’re going to do with the seed or where they’re going to plant the tree or any of it. I get it that it’s easy to be ultra-pessimistic given Blizzard’s track record, but I don’t see them denying night elves at least something that resembles a happy ending out of all this.

Maybe. All those night elf spirits did give up spots in nature lover’s heaven to be part of the big seed after all. Perhaps they’ll end up as wisps.

Every time NEs received something they got kicked at the same time.

I know the kick is coming.
Just where is it going to land is the question

Malfurion perma dead?
Permanent under construction “city”?
Marry another Horde couple under this new world tree?
Word dlc of what actually happens when things inconclusively fade to black?

Something is coming, it always is.

They got alot of stuff ever since MoP ended constantly. They get more lore then any other race from Blizzard except humans. Be grateful instead of crying on such high tones.

More doesn’t mean good.

Everytime the Horde got more lore the game went into an absolute abysmal state. The less Horde lore we get the better.

Dang. And here I was hoping for these orc clans and their new leaders getting some development attention.

Don’t. I rather have Orc lore forgotten entirely after the s.hitshow that was WoD. All originally leading families of the Orc clans are either dead or became lame. They will never grew to importance again like they did back on Draenor before it went boom.

Oh no, please do. I totally want these guys to have some attention and build some new future story.

The Warlords were presented to us as total badasses but almost all of them except Grommash died in the first two patches in dungeons and raids. That expansion was the biggest disappointment.

I guess Kultiras could be the next spot to burn down for the next Orc lore development story. /s

…and?
If the warlords were defeated then they weren’t badass enough to keep themselves from getting krumped by a bunch of raiders and dungeon divers. Which makes sense considering even before WoD we’ve already been krumping Lich Kings, Dragons, and Old Gods for fun and profit.

It’s cute that you think the Iron Horde ever really stood a chance.

That wasn’t what I was hoping for but I’d never say no to punching Kul’Tirans.

Am I the only who finds the claim that the game ends up in a abysmal state whenever the horde gets new lore to be hilarious? Cause, between the Orc heritage armor lore and the human one. Only one of them was hated and it wasn’t the Horde one

The real problem is that the alliance doesn’t get any lore that’s relevant to what’s going on at any particular moment

If a character in the story thinks it’s extinction, that character’s perspective is objectively wrong. Night elves populate more of Azeroth than any other race.

Jaina survived her raid unharmed. Nuff said.

Give them the plot armor alliance characters always use and they would be fine.

Its established lore, a massive and significant amount of NEs died

Everything in the story makes it clear this was an epic level of loss of life.
You could head canon what you want or lie to yourseld. Its what the lore states

So what? She still ran away when she realized she was about to die if she stayed any longer.

It’s basically like a paladin who chooses to bubblehearth out of a duel.

I’ll take “Things That Were Never Going To Happen In WoW” for $500, Alex.

I didn’t deny it was genocide. I am categorically, objectively denying that it was even close to extinction.

Canonically most Night Elves lived in Teldrassil.
There really werent any other major population centers.

Andiun and Tyrande are very clear in their descriptions
