Ongoing focus does not mean “we’re gonna do this and only this for the next 2 years” he told us they were giving us majority of the customizations at launch, and the rest would potentially come after. And we got a ton during prepatch because the launch was delayed. You all have to stop taking words out of context to fit your own narratives and wants. Use your heads and ACTUALLY read what was said. You quote “We’ll keep expanding” and then remove the first part that gives context to the actual answer. You know, the “WHEN POSSIBLE”? For crying out loud. Go read a book.
Rofl, enough. Now you’re moving to insults. I’ve written several books, actually.
I also know what I’m talking about, and I didn’t take the quote out of context one bit. It’s all right there–and if you refuse to see it, that’s fine.
But if you’re going to devolve into insults, you’ve lost. This conversation is over. You’re not going to see it, very clearly, and I’ve spelled it out for you. So
If you write books, then you know how important it is to not skip lines and words in a sentence. Because, you know that’s how sentences work. You don’t just pick and choose which words you read to make it something else. He clearly said “when possible” and ‘when possible’ does not mean, when you want it.
Is Baldur’s Gate 3 out of development yet? I know there’s early access, but I mean the full version. I could use a real RPG right about now.
No, but it did get an update with the druid class though.
Nice! I can’t wait for it to be finished.
Maybe you weren’t there in BC/ wrath when we were promised a dance studio. It was printed on physical paper promotional material.
Where us the dance studio? Is it an “ongoing desire” or whatever, 15 years later? Blizzard intentionally words their pr like this to sound promising and then reneg later. It may technically not be lying, but it is incredibly alienating to playerbase expectations.
Don’t forget aerial mounted combat. Right on the box.
It rings oddly similar to them saying they got rid of class tier sets in BfA so that they could focus on adding “far more variety” to armour in that same expansion.
Only for them to give us far less and to take away a chunk of what they made (the PVP sets) after their season was done and only give them to us as ensembles over a year later. The Sinister PVP sets and weapons, for instance, were removed so thoroughly that unless you’d already unlocked them you couldn’t see any in the Appearance Tab.
Yep, I’m sure somewhere in there they’re still working on that dance studio for you! Keep waiting! Customization is going to come in the future, people are just babies. “I want what I want when i want it!!!” Give me a break.
That’s the question isn’t it? Does ACTVI consider WoW a dead end? Something whose IP should be milked for nostalgia purposes (legacy classic realms of eras at least up to WoTLK) and not worthy of moving forwards? Possibly. It could also just be dev arrogance and bad planning/direction. We don’t know.
At no point is that a confirmation or promise you are getting more customizations in Shadowlands. I get that people want it to be a priority. But again, lets be truthful that it was not promised feature this expansion beyond the initial core races getting more options.
… are you being sarcastic? Because if you are being sarcastic, you’re actually agreeing with my point.
So, uh, thanks?
You’re welcome! I’m with you, I can’t wait for them to give us that dance studio! It’s all I’ve wanted for 13 years! Damnit blizz!
So you’re trolling then?
Cause that is some wishful thinking you’ve got there.
That’s pretty clear by now, yeah.
Dance studio would be stupidly easy for them now that they changed how the model skeletons work. They can swap animations from one model to the next now.
Especially after devolving to insults.
Twice.
I honestly dont understand what your point is anymore.
Players want customization options. We have proven over and over that we will spend real money on cosmetic mounts / pets / faerie armor sets because we like customization.
Being told we won’t get anything new, whether or not it was literally promised shows that blizzard is out of touch with its playerbase.
blizzard : the customization we did back in SL prepatch was good enough so there will be no continuation in SL
Nightborne players : am i a joke to you?
