Player housing will be the primary seller for the expansion similar to how Hero Talents were the seller for TWW.
This will be another form of cost cutting. In the past we would get them both together but now features are being stretched across expansions to maximize profit and minimize labor costs.

Player housing fills a radically different niche/development requirement then a class.
I remember getting a new class with WoD.

WoD is the closest we had to playing housing in the past. And it was not player housing, or anywhere close to the time involved to create player housing.
And we still didnt get a new class at the same time. So not sure on this “in the past we would get them both together” statement.

Thats like saying we couldn’t give you Demon Hunters because we added Artifact Weapons, a boatload of unlockable transmog options, and Class Halls.

I guess there wasn’t really any big seller feature. It felt like they were still just in “Look, at least its not Shadowlands” mode.
Maybe they should give up some raid tiers. New class and player housing will do far more for the longevity of the game than a short term impact raid.

Hopefully, after all the problems with Evokers they go back to the drawing board…because they clearly no longer understand what people want or how a class should fit into the game
We don’t need more classes. Our cup is full, anymore and it’s spilling over.
We got model updates for races in replacement for a new race.
What are you talking about? Evoker is the best class in the game. The limited range is a bit of an annoyance but perfect beyond that.

FFXIV has some archetypes not in wow such as bard, dancer, pictomancer.
reaper is also one id love in wow
If by “best,” you mean one of the least played and most disruptive hero classes ever made…then sure.
