No New Class in Midnight

It’s gonna be Housing as the main Game Feature and High Elf as the Allied Race.

No new class.

FFXIV jobs are all different flavors of DPS. It’s insulting that they consider their “ranger” class a bard. It’s no where near close.

I’d say that hero talents may have been the primary feature for some, but definitely not all. Delves, account wide features, and other things were big factors for a number of players.

Also, some people will not care about player housing at all. Hard to say given that we know very little about the next expansion and what changes will bring.

We had just gotten a new class in MoP. We’ve never had back to back expansions with new classes.

The expansion we didn’t get a new class when we should have was Shadowlands.

I was unaware you worked for Blizzard. According to the roadmap…

The reveal is 9 months away. How about you either stop posting or stop making stuff up.

I feel like Tinker next would round out the roster of classes very well but also Warden is long overdue, with trees for spellbreaker it would be the best fit for Midnight

Why would we get an alied race of a race we already havE?

High Elf Druids have to come in and heal the Dead Scar at Quel’Thalas

I’m having fun, if others aren’t having fun with it that’s their loss. If you don’t disrupt the status quo then things get real stale real quick. Aug is perfection.

Tinker would make the most sense for the Undermine(d) patch, but consider this: Blood Elves are all about that partying lifestyle. With the revamp of Silvermoon, what would be more perfect than setting up a stage and unveiling the Bard class

I like the way you think

They have 2-3 taverns MAX that are colourful in nature (but mostly empty) and you consider that the partying lifestyle?

Let’s not get carried away.

If we get a new class in Midnight I think it’d probably be an arcane melee class like Anasterian was that also incorporates Spellbreakers. It’s the most fitting elf class and something both factions would have access to since both Silver Covenant and Sunreavers have Spellblades. It’s also something that could be taught to other races like monks so it wouldn’t need to be race restricted.

Lord Saltheril would like to have a word with you

I don’t think you understand how much goes into player housing in comparison to just adding a reskin and new names of abilities.

New class isn’t something new and ground breaking. Whereas player housing has to be started from scratch and expanded upon.

Good, new classes tend to destroy balance for a while.

We can only hope.

Many specs in the game right now are unfinished. Blizzard shouldn’t add any more classes or specs until the ones already in the game are done.

I don’t think replacing anything with player housing is going to cut costs, unless by “cut” you mean “divert into the giant money pit that is player housing”.

the only real problem with evokers is the race sucks. sure its mostly due to the transmog limitations but the race feels like the c team was working on it. the fact its the only class in the game with its limited range doesnt help it much either. i bet if they brought its range inline with casters and not melee and opened it up to other races or added transmog to dracthyr we would see more people play. theres no argument that the dracthyr rare isnt lame. the stats for people playing a dracthyr on all the classes that arent evoker combined are less than evokers. that alone is proof of failure when your less played than the diaper baby mecha gnomes

It’s not that I don’t want more, these devs can’t handle what they have.
