No more underground zones please

Hello,

Every WoW expansion, good or bad, people always say “at least the zones are beautiful”

I hate the zones of this expansion. Especially ringing deeps and the spider zone. When I need to go there, I can’t wait to return to isle of dorn where the sun shines.

Hallowfall is ok because it doesn’t look underground and is mostly lit, but it still has a “ceiling” and is claustrophobic.

In TWW the world feels “small” to me, despite the zones being bigger - everywhere tunnels, ceilings, caves, even when you fly.

An underground expansion was a bad idea. :-1:

Please make the upcoming 11.1 zone anything but another cave

Thank you

I don’t think those zones are bad, but i agree that we have enough underground zones in the game right now, 5 in total.

I think if Zaralek caverns didn’t existed, players reaction to TWW zones would be different, because they used the same theme 2 expansion in a row.

Way better than SL zones imo

We need more island zones

As far as underground zones and a recent flight update go…they actually killed it in my opinion.

The zones are clearly subterranean but are not claustrophobic and fully accommodate dragon riding. I love TWW’s zones. One of the best things about the expac.

Talk about first world problems…

Funny enough those are actually my two favourites out of the zones. Apparently I am the small minority this expansion’s zones were designed for. I like caves and enclosed spaces. Looking forward to going to whatever underground area the Haranir are in, too.

The expansion is about underground exploration. I think the zones are great TBH.

I don’t believe you are. I’m willing to bet TWW’s zones have been well received by the majority.

Oh and ringing deeps is a masterpiece. Only overlooked because of how fantastic Hallowfall is.

Yeh, Hallowfall is amazingly well done. Out of the zones it definitely gives those Journey to the Center of the Earth vibes. The art team did a wonderful job. I do not know if it will ever happen, but I would love to see to the other side of that sea.

Then again, the art team is usually pretty on point. Even in Shadowlands, where the rest of the story was kinda eh, the zones were spectacular. Ardenweald is one of my favourite zones in the entire game, for example.

Art and music are the old faithfuls of WoW for me. No matter what happens when it comes to gameplay and content I am rarely let down when I actually open my eyes and look around.

At least the zone are connected together with borders. I did not like what they did in SL.

I don’t mind the zones in TWW at all, but Ringing Deeps is my least favorite.

Ringing Deeps feels like it’s half the size of other zones and reminds me too much of ZC.

I like them, Isle of Dorn is good too because I love history and the first thing they remind of is the Highlands of different nations including Scotland.

Very thematic.

Compared to other underground zones like Deepholm, Ringing Deeps and Spidertown are monochrome, boring and claustrophobic.

Underground zones are awesome. Underwater zones are terrible.

at least some were pretty but not fun lol

I want to wash away on the shores of an unexplored island with no memory.
But also somehow I’m the chosen one.

Feel like I’m the odd one out. The City of Threads is the first city I’ve enjoyed since Suramar
