You do realize that content requires the assistance from the art team, right?
Is it SO costly to add a few new hair, skin and eye textures?
They should AT LEAST do that every patch!

And maybe not even then. Even the current wave of new customization options took them like six years to make and release. Could be years before we get more customization options.
They literally even delayed the launch of new customization options past BfA. New customization options are apparently MASSIVELY taxing on their art team for whatever reason.

They don’t even need to make new hairstyles, they can just take existing styles and give them to races that don’t have them after changing them a bit. Some allied races literally share models with base races.
Are they really stretched so thin that even this is out of reach? After they made it a selling point for the expansion? There’s major discrepancy between what some races got and what others got, almost no uniformity between them.

Ah good, another stuff in the product description that they just simple feign ignorance and “forget” they promised it.
First the “You will still be able to destroy old raid content”. Still can’t solo any Legion raid properly aside LFR difficult.
Now with “We will add more customization to the races through the expansion”. C’mon Blizzard, are you trying to pull a Reforged with Shadowlands?!

Yeah, they said that customization was an on-going project that will expand over time in subsequent Shadowlands patches, that included allied races. Now during the Q&A they said there won’t be any more and they think the options available are good enough. Meanwhile, Nightborne’s lack of customization has been one of the largest ongoing complaints in this department since Legion.

I was hoping to see if there would be anything about customizations while I was considering race changing my nightborne lock to an orc, and I can’t have even that. Considering it took them nearly 5 years after WoD to update Cataclysm races, I don’t have much hope.
