Gotta say i love this hunter forum, now it takes into consideration what the top players are doing.

But a couple of months ago people when everyone was crying about the class in BoD you couldn’t bring in the top players into a discussion with Gingi and Merees being in the world first race as hunters.
“What the top 0.0001 do, don’t matter at all!!”.

The top 0.0001 don’t dictate whether or not I’m enjoying my class and they don’t pay for my sub. The game is so close to being dead now yes you can over gear two hunters and bring them to show sure its okay. Same with 3200k IO. Its still a 3-4 button rotation with increased GCD.
Doesn’t make the class feel good, doesn’t make it fun in PvP, doesn’t make it competitive in the same league as rogues.
All you post on here is inflammatory remarks and no solutions, if your opinion is just suck it up hunters, no thanks ill keep my money and so will many other people.
Its almost fruitless to argue about it because people forget how fun this game was in the past and think BFA is okay. They removed every skill aspect of this game that lets your example of the 0.00001% distinguish themselves from the rank and file.

I’m not insulting you; but, you’re 1580 IO and 3/9m. I’m wondering if the title to this post should be more like “Mediocre player looking for rank 1 MDI hunter buffs”.
There is no diversity because there is a obvious tilt in a single classes favor. It’s also not isolated to “the best of the best”, you can check that out for yourself on raider io.
Raider IO is a self-fulfilling prophecy. It’s a community-driven and controlled stat-stick. People watch MDI or popular streamers and assume only warriors, rogues, and DH are viable, so that is what the majority of the player-base invites. They probably don’t know/understand that the comp was put together for certain pulls/skips. Your random 12-1300 IO pug isn’t going to know or care about details. They’re like you. They just build a “perfect” group comp based on class and thats it.
Any class with a solid, constant group including hunters is going to do fine.

If my IO or my raid progression was a sign of my individual skill I guess I would take offense. Since both require others, I guess I don’t see how that personally reflects upon me.
It’s hard to say since you’re posting on an alt your experience; but, yes, I think as far as pugging goes, MM hunters aren’t represented very much in higher keys. So it’s a vicious cycle, you can’t raise your io unless you do higher keys, you can’t get into better people because of your io and thus the cycle goes back to your io. If you don’t comprehend that concept, link your MM hunter IO.
Well, the information and facts contradict your statement.
Another way to look at it is, I’m sure there are plenty of people under 5’5" who can play basketball. I’m sure there are AMAZING people with the skill to play in the NBA, they’re just not represented there and if they are it’s far and few between.
I mean, I think your comments are cute and funny but they don’t hold much weight.

Maybe you don’t? All these posts are from non-hunters or alt trolls nit picking little quotes. If I’m not having fun and don’t see my class (or many classes in general) being represented across the board then I’m not paying for a sub.
The more of us that stop paying the more it hurts people that are. That’s logic.

Easy to brake that “cycle” get a group. Ain’t hard at all to start one.
Finding a tank without a group of their own is a difficult task, then meeting a criteria of aptitude and desire… not so easy this deep into the expansion. I agree though. I’m not sold on it’s me, I think there is a perception of hunters and it shows on rankings.

Logic. You post on a rogue alt on the hunter forums. Maybe you play a hunter, maybe you don’t. I have no idea, but I’m not going to assume you do until I see it. Half your sycophants on here nit pick peoples progress on their hunters so its a joke to see them posting on alts.
You could have played a hunter 1 hour during BFA, or could have played 50 days, but this much I know. I spent a significant amount of time (4000+ Games of 3s alone in Legion) on mine playing all 3 specs.
In the grand scheme thats not even really that much since I’ve only been playing since Cata. Some people on here have been here on hunter since vanilla.
What is 100% certain though is your insults and attitude about the current state of hunters doesn’t fix anything or make us want to re sub. It doesn’t fix representation for other classes either.
Your very first post you even admit that classes aren’t well represented and rather then offering solutions you just flame people. Enjoy BFA and the lack of content that follows when Activision reigns in the budget from a lack of subs.

I don’t know man, for me it’s pretty simple. Im not kidding i have like 25 people added to my friend list to run keys with, i get added all the time specially now that im starting to run big bois keys.
So for me is hard to believe someone has a struggle finding a group when it has been so easy for me.
Well in 15+ (the level you are) and up Hunter in total has 8.6% representation between all the DPS specs, more that Warlocks, Shamans, Monk, Warrior, Priest or DK.
Only below Rogues, DH Havoc and Mages (this last one not by much) and tied with druids.
So i don’t agree with that statement at all, just because there are more Rogues or DH’s it doesnt mean Hunters won’t be invited.

BTW not till the last 2 raids in heroic did locks really dominate. Again, after Ghostcrawler left going into WOD everything was a mess.

MM Hunters are @ 4.2% of ranged dps and 1.9% of ALL dps. We won’t even bring up poor SV hunters. BM hunters at least have a lust and a sooth. Since their recent buff their damage has come more into line.
I can’t agree with you either. According to the community a rogue provides skips, a WW monk/DH/Shaman have utility debuffs etc and that leaves people who can brez.
We can argue I guess back and forth; but, MM doesn’t have a utility that is desired when we talk about other classes.

I have got people adding me as a Hunter and a SPriest too. Trust me class has nothing to do.
The pugging world is like that, people pick what they want. Don’t like it? Make your own group.
Hunters have no issues at all.
And i just saw a couple of UH DH being used in the MDI. You think the community gonna change because of that?

At this point you have to be daft… The game has never been balanced to the level you claim. There are always classes that perform better than others. You can pretend otherwise but it’s downright silly.
Can you link your hunter? I can get into plenty of 15’s and lower. I’m sure at lower levels or the people who just want to get a key “done”.

Blizzard literally nerfed Unholy DK’s the last time they were breaking 500k dps. I think a shaman was doing it today. Ya, I definitely think WW’s and shaman’s will be more desired. Shamans still have the best tool kit as it is, their damage is pretty strong.

Ok, ya we’ve spoken before. Not taking anything away from you but we’ve had this conversation before. You’re not doing or not trying to do consistent 15’s and higher. I saw the one 17 you ran… ****and by no means do I intend this as insulting. If I wanted to run 12’s or w.e all day I could too.
You’re just not getting the point and you haven’t experienced it yet and that’s kind of my point. Let me know when you experience pugging or 15+ keys with classes like DH/Rogue that have a on demand AOE (DH literally all they do is aoe). We don’t have a cleave and really don’t fair well. NOT TO SAY THAT EVERY HUNTER IN THE WORLD is experiencing that… The 3200 MM hunter probably has a set group he runs with. All I’m saying is your experience may vary but most likely be like the other 1.9% of MM hunters. Just saying.
