No matter what blizzard does people will never trust them again

Were people really so naive as to trust them in the first place?

Apparently
Folks love to mention Metzen in this but ā€¦ heā€™s also the same guy who in an interview talked about having an awkward conversation with his daughter about ā€œWhy is the girl wearing a bikiniā€ (WC3 Sorcerer model)

All of the issues folks talk about, have been around since Rockā€™nā€™Roll Racing ā€¦ and earlier than that

I dunno. For me itā€™s always beenā€¦ Blizzard is a business. They arenā€™t your friends. They donā€™t love you. They never loved you. They love your money. They will do whatever they can to separate you from your money, typically with as little effort as possible. So why would you ever ā€œtrustā€ them?

So youā€™ve talked to everyone and everyone agrees?

Or are you one of those people who believes that you are not only entitled to your opinion, you are entitled to everyoneā€™s opinion as well?

Now if you hate the game so much, why are you hanging around trying to kill it for the rest of us?

Itā€™s like trying to look away from a train wreck but instead you could be a part of it and enjoy the roller coaster.

Have you not read the entire thing I wasnā€™t talking about myself and heck I donā€™t hate this game and I donā€™t go around spreading hateful views towards this game.

And I was speaking about those who have distrust that Dragonflight will get any better or that blizzard or the World of Warcraft team can truly change. Even when they have showed that they are trying their best to do just that change or turnover a new leaf.

But I do get why people have a massive distrust towards them after how many lies but there has to be some level of optimism that things can or will change for the better you canā€™t forever punish something or someone. At some point you have to give a second chance or have them atone for their actions.

Your first words were ā€œNo amount of action will convince PEOPLE ā€¦ā€. Well Iā€™m people so you are not only expressing your opinion, you are expressing my opinion.

Now if you said ā€œNo amount of action will convince some of us ā€¦ā€ then we wouldnā€™t have an issue.

I use to like Bueller gaming but when he started talk about how ā€œthe playersā€ donā€™t like the game, ā€œthe playersā€ donā€™t trust the devs" that was where he went over a line.

Yes heā€™s entitled to his opinion. Heā€™s not entitled to mine.

I have only seen a small handful ever say this and usually as they made their ā€œI am quittingā€ rage posts.

People giving feedback, voicing concern, or complaining how some things just are not conducive to enjoyment does not mean they want the game to die. They want to be heard so that the game can be better.

Please step back and stop being so dramatic and accusatory.

Trust them to do what?

What if they hire a new team? Iā€™m not necessarily suggesting thatā€™s necessary, but I am highlighting the absurdity of this claim.

This is lying via malicious contempt. These communities arenā€™t even all the same. And some of them have very negative opinions of the official forums.

Maybe they like classic? Iā€™unno. Why donā€™t you stay in your lane and let other people make an informed choice about where they spend their money.

I do get some are honest constructive feedback or criticism but I hear more hate then say criticism.

You know.

Your kind.

I think when you ignore peoples complaints and donā€™t understand why people donā€™t trust them to make a good product again after being burnt many times; then these type of threads go no where.

Fact of the matter is; not everyone is doomsaying, not everyone is hating on this gameā€¦ there are plenty of people that like aspects of the game but call it as they see it in that Blizzard needs to do solid work in the future for said players to gain any trust in their capabilities.

Iā€™m not sure what your aim is with these threads OP if only to gain an echo chamber and/or a place to rant for your really obsessive nature to the subject matter and your inability to understand a simple fact; not everyone is gonna consume and pat Blizz on the back.

You hear frustration and judge everyone poorly.

Trust them to do what? To improve the game or to turnover a new leaf in terms of listening to feedback and communicating better with the community at large. (But I wasnā€™t talking about myself anyways since I love this game and the genre of fantasy but I do criticize the game in a more controlled manner)

If you believe Blizzard can do that than I have a bridge in Durotar Iā€™d just love to sell you.

To some maybe it is frustration but to some other people in terms of how they phrase it or the way they say it doesnā€™t come of like that or at-least in terms of how they structured their wording that didnā€™t come off as frustration but hate.

People trust them to produce a game with many of the qualities theyā€™ve come to enjoy from WoW. To trust that every expansion will be better than the last would be a bit reckless. When you think about it, thatā€™s actually impossible in the long-term.

Thisā€¦ definitely not. And the reason people canā€™t and shouldnā€™t trust Blizzard to do that is because they already tried. People baited arguments all the time and now theyā€™re quieter and engage less. It didnā€™t reallyā€¦ work out, unfortunately.

I mean, Blizzard is a corporation out to make money. Even if I trust their product quality (Which Iā€™ll admit I donā€™t atm but weā€™ll see) trusting them in general seems unwise.

So ignore them and stop making hostile threads on the forums.
