No matter what blizzard does people will never trust them again

It’s a corporation all about making money that’s long forgotten it’s values it promised it’s players long ago, atop the past few years controversy.
If you “trust” a soulless corporation after all that and think a few cheap words is worthy of trusting them after only a few months the fool isn’t those who are mad and want a better product…lol
There’s something each loves about the game or wants to return to the game again.as a whole cares more about investors rather then customers they say they hear us but do they actually listen to us or the investors?

What bugs me about late term capitalism is the dehuminization companies do to their customers calling us “consumers” it’s placing us nothing more then profit with no view that we are the ones who pay the bills and love this game. We love the game and vent frustration about the companies treatment of the IP.

The same things happened to star wars and now Lord of the rings with people not respecting the IP and changing it to how they see the world. You do not break lore to insert your own personal views you stick to the way the original creator intended. There’s no respect to a corporation that does not respect it’s roots and the fans who still love and hope for better.

People want to love this game but the actions of the company speak far louder then PR words in a forum post we can’t all bend over backwards and ignore what’s Infront of us. We demand better and we make our displeasure known so they can fix it.

Some will be mad just to be mad…most stay hoping it will get better, many gave up on it seeing it irredeemable and have quit and gone to other games as you suggested.

Those that left for good don’t change or fix this game. Those that stay through it all imo love this game far more and thus deserve more respect for staying through it and not quitting.

Me leaving to something else won’t fix wow.

I miss the days of Metzen. That man had so much passion for the game.

Why wouldn’t I trust them? I’ve had a lot of fun in Shadowlands. The gameplay has been as good as ever and I even have liked most of the systems. Huge fan of covenants and how they differentiate characters even of the same class this expansion.

A poor main story is biggest flaw from Shadowlands, but that doesn’t make or break whether I have fun logging in each day. I don’t engage with the story for 98% of my playtime, so the game failing me during that 2% of the time is really only a minor complaint.

Even then, the side stories and zone quests were all cool. I enjoyed Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweld, and Revendreth quite a lot. Some of my favorite zones to play through ever in this game. If they would just remove Sylvanas and The Jailer then everything else story wise has been great.

I dont trust mega Corporations period. Even in FF14 and other MMOs the real puppet masters pulling the strings from the shadows can easily ruin games by them slowing adding more P2W or BS features for analytics. Runescape was a insane mmo before they added in a mini gambling casino into the base game and the evolution of combat

I have 3 times that in hours!

Thats baby time lol.

Streamers, and clickbait youtubers who barely play the game.

I know a man who screwed up a lot as a kid.
He turned into a teenager and it just got worse.
As an adult, you’d think he’d have settled down some, but it only escalated.
His grandfather was dying of cancer and this guy literally stole his own grandfathers pain medication. More than once. It was morphine so if it goes missing once, they’ll replace it. If it happens again, youre usually screwed.

Some years back this guy decides he wants to change.
After half a lifetime of screwing people over, he decides to be a better person.
Thats cool. We all want you to be a decent human being we can trust having around.
Well, he went back and forth for a while. Doing ok for a few months, then back into the storm again, dragging anyone around him down with his drama.

He finally hit ‘screw it’ again and decided to REALLY try this time.
Ok…we’re on board…again.

He actually got upset that a few weeks into his new found life of perfection that WE all didnt just believe it was gonna take this time.
Some years have passed and you still have to keep an eye on this guy.

Blizzard reminds me a lot of him

This is why you invest in a good pair of slippers if you have cats or dogs. Never know what you’ll find on your morning trudge to the bathroom BEFORE you’ve had your coffee.

True for some. I’ll never fully trust them again but then again you should never fully trust any business.

They kind of are just out for themselves. Of course you have to have happy customers to stay in business. Every company is going to try to maximize profits with the least amount of overhead.

They get away with what you let them get away with

Why wouldn’t I trust them? They’ve never put out a game I didn’t enjoy for at least a little while.

People’s favorite thing is to say what WoW/Blizzard cannot do. What really happens is not up to the average doomsayer on the forums though. It’s up to the people who are paid top dollar to strategize the future of the game.

Tune out the noise.

Edit: My main point is it is easy to go online and say what things or people cannot do but this has no real basis/influence in or on reality. Things adapt or die and that’s it. We can’t tell the future.

Same. They bore me. Only watched one, once. Some guy named Soda.

Was a little entertaining lol.

I am still in disbelief that our dog hung her head off of her pet bet to :face_vomiting: on my wool rug. Why!? She has two other pet beds and that one has a cover that could be washed. But, nope right on my nice rug.

Well its doomsaying gloomsayer and wow depression season

Yeah these morning trudges are becoming dangerous.

If your trust is so broken and don’t believe in any kind of redemption then why even stay or follow World of Warcraft. What do you hope to gain being so hateful towards something you clearly despise?

I really don’t get people if they hate something or despise something then why not just move on to other things and why stay around just to spread their hateful views?

Everyday I keep hearing the same thing that dragonflight is not gonna change anything and not communicate or listen to any of the feedback even when there is clear cut evidence that they are.

If you want to send a message of your hate and aggression towards this game then why not vote with your money.

I understand trust broken.

Bill Bilichick got caught cheating. No way was it the only time, cheaters don’t work that way. This negates all of the Patriots wins over the past 20-some years, throws all of Tom Brady’s records out the window (or at least earned an asterisk).
He cheats, it is proven.

Trust broken is a big deal.
