No, I would have fun doing that. S1 DF best season thus far that I’ve played.
I have plenty of purpose in life and in other games. I know what you’re talking about. Why should I care about that in wow when I don’t want that in wow?
This is what should happen.
Wrong.
then why didn’t you just do that? The season didn’t even release until after 2 weeks. Delve gearing was pretty much all you had. feel free to just do it without delves next time and your issue is solved
That means you play with worse players, and it’s harder to get invites into groups. Pass.
You can get gear from M+. If you think delves is making M+ less fun then perhaps the problem is with M+ just not being as fun to begin with.
hard to get an invite when you’re 70
Is this what you type when you have no rebuttal?
give me something to rebuttal. your trolls arent even good mate. just keep saying things arent fun. maybe one day youll get it lol
You are unaware of the impact of delves on m+ then.
Not worth engaging with you apparently.
def not when you have nothing to add
Which is nothing. Delves aren’t making your content less fun. It’s just less fun in general.
The playerbase is ALREADY SPLIT. the issue is trying to keep people playing at this point. And as a solo player who has been a solo player for years…solo players unsub and wait for the next expansion. If they want our 20 bucks a month, they need to not disrespect our dollar by demanding we play the game in a way we dont like. This doesn’t hurt mythics or raiders or pvpers at all. We were always a group. We played through the solo content and left. We never raided or did mythics, you never see us doing any of that. This doesn’t hurt your play experience… it only effects us. And they need to give us a reason to stay.
You will run out of content. Blizz can only do so much.
I think the problem with delves is that you can do them as a group. Even if scaling is different, they’re much easier in a group.
Well, that certainly is “faux.” as in the word for false.
I don’t understand why they were made this way. It’s similar to Blitz. You can queue as a duo in those. It defeats the purpose of calling it a solo queue. Then again I’m a little biased and quite frankly don’t want solo play modes to be balanced at all around groups. There’s already plenty of group content out there.
There’s more nuance to it than this. M+ is by far my favorite mode in WoW, but only once the key levels reach a point where I have to remain engaged. But in order to reach those key levels, I need a certain amount of gear. Low levels of M+ aren’t very engaging, much like how farm raid bosses aren’t engaging for a lot of people who generally enjoy raid.
So when low end gearing is going to feel like a chore either way, choosing the quickest way is a rather obvious decision. And with delves being drastically quicker, it does create some awkward situations for folks who then want to try to move into M+ after getting the gear.
Low level keys being less fun doesn’t mean higher level keys aren’t less fun.
I only attempted m+ for two seasons in DF and couldn’t tolerate it long enough to get to the high keys. I just can’t get behind an activity where I spend over 50% of the time sitting and waiting. I can tolerate the other issues (toxicity, lack of loot, etc) but the waiting is a dealbreaker.
I wouldn’t say that keys aren’t fun at all but they absolutely aren’t fun enough to justify the cost, at least for me. For people who run with guilds/premades, the math is probably different so I can see how they could enjoy it. I’ll never understand how people can pug them and enjoy it.
To be fair that’s not limited to M+. That applies to basically all queued content. PvP is the worst for this.
