Hyper efficiency comes from the M+ mindset.
It’s not about how it impacts me as an individual. That’s the problem here. That’s all you care about. My argument was positioned separate from me and it’s clear you are coming from a purely emotional standpoint.
It has to do with the strength of mobs vs the players. There was no way to efficiently pull that many mobs back in the day. You had to take time, carefully pull small packs, and rest and heal. Communication was key. Retail is a strange blend of too easy and too hard now, where the the content is designed to be blown through, but you also have to manage a large button rotation while dodging a bunch of hard to read effects.
I’m not saying I hate retail, there is plenty to like about it, but I find it incredibly frustrating. Delves at least give me a chance to go through content at my own pace.
Yea, I’m just getting a joy out of this thread atm.
Thank you for having such an open minded perspective.
You’re alright in my book
speaking of the devil… at some point i need to venture into 11s but i keep lowering my 12 keys back to 10s lol. not sure why but i feel like im gonna get smacked in the mouth in those. but i do want to push… its just you know…pugging
The go go go “ideal path” in TW comes directly from M+players. You zone into deadmines, tank is already pulling two groups and getting feared into a third one and dying, blaming healer and dps. I’ve yet to see a tank actually properly tank now. They run their little path, drop aggro on half whatever they thought they pulled, mob turns on healer and dps. You say anything, you get insulted. You kick the tank, they come here to cry (there’s a post on first page still I think).
Don’t psychoanalyze me. We finally get one proper path to progression with delves and M+ players want it nerfed to the ground.
I like where delve gearing is at, but argueing for Mythic gear…no that is definitely too far.
lol, I see this all the time. The problem is if you’re a tank and you try to pull slowly then there is always one DPS that gets frustrated with how slow you are and starts pulling for you.
Why is that a problem? If you play to get gear you can do your delives and be done with it.
Go play M+ because you enjoy doing that type of content. Play M+ because you like M+.
Other sources of gear shouldn’t be downplayed because you want your cake and to eat it too. If you only do M+ because you want the gear, you have an easier way to get that gear now. And that’s not a bad thing.
You can now do M+ for the enjoyment of that type of content.
Because having a no reward zone sucks in order to get to the reward zone.
It makes 2-6 keys unrewarding, and depending on skill level, people may be there for quite a while.
And if 2-6 was your content, then that means you play for no rewards where there previously was.
Man you’re close to getting it. You’ll get there. Keep trying.
You don’t seem to care about game design so your posts are worthless.
All you stand for is number go up.
lol

Then Blizzard needs to fix M+ and not screw delvers over because M+ people seem to posses NO SELF CONTROL, much like most people, and have to take the easiest method, which will in turn screw delvers out of having some nice things too.
To be honest with you, and this might be controversial, I think they should turn up the drop rate on M+ and all dungeon content in general. Loot drops way too rarely, I always get crucified by people on the forums for saying so, but I honestly think dungeons are just unrewarding now in general. Back in the day, all kinds of loot would drop and you would leave a dungeon with a least a couple of minor upgrades, I dont know why they completely killed dungeon loot.
You realize buffing m+ loot, nerfing delves, is two sides of the same coin?
Also adding that I’ve no interest in doing M+.
Doubling loot everywhere (except delves) is a solution.
