yep. Announcing 3 more expacs and none having housing is like…“ok, I see the roadmap for the next 6 years?! …and…umm…thanks for the crystal ball that doesn’t include the thing I want most” for me… I need to concentrate my time/money to a game that does.

It’s been pretty obvious it’s something they have no interest in doing. If we didn’t get it in DF, when they were desperately trying to win back favour over the Cosby suite fiasco, it’s just never happening. I hold out hope, but I’m not counting on it.
What are you gonna do in a player house? Hide from everyone? Lol

You should play an MMO that has housing before speaking of what you don’t know anything about.

I love my villa in Dark Age of Camelot, complete with my own Merchant outside, trophies from killing mobs, and more.
It’s so damn easy to implement.

They already said player housing is not on their plans to add to the game as it’d require reformatting the entire game to fit such and they’re not up to doing that. Sorry to say but you’ll have to make do with your garrison for now as player housing is not coming to WoW in the near future

The Farm in Panda land is more of a house then the WAR Garrison.

yep. I realize that. but…WoW was my first mmo…and wish it could be my “only” mmo. But instead I have to spread my gametime (and sub time) between others that have it. I’m a filthy casual player that does commissioned deco in FF14…won contests in Rift and Lotro …etc… I love it. So hate me for liking housing and the creative/collecting spirit but… I do. It gives me purpose, personally. I love a space and making it my own. Wow…does not have this.

Housing was discussed pretty late on. The chances of it being a feature on this next expansion is questionable… but on some of the later ones… maybe not.
I don’t think it’s off the table. I wouldn’t call it a guarantee, but… keep advocating for it if that’s your main interest.
I was disappointed to see that housing wasn’t mentioned but I remember Ion saying that it’s going to take time (and more than one expansion) to implement. So I’m hopeful.
Some of the new zones look great and have me… ummm… excited isn’t the right word… roused? Like, “Oh. Neat.”
I really like the housing concept idea and wish Blizzard had really done something with it long long ago. Would they have done it right? IDK 
I am done complaining about it though. It it happens, I will rejoice, if not, I have a good outlet for that now.
Palia Open Beta
I think it has some of the former Blizz/WoW folks working there as well.
It has all the farming, housing, mining/fishing/hunting,bug catching, gathering, NPC friendship/dating stuff that WoW does not. Very cozy, chill, friendly, relaxing. You can take things at your own pace and there is no real FOMO. Even events come back eventually, or items come back some other way. Stardew without combat, sleep, or crop death and without pixels.
FREE - other than premium outfits but they don’t shove them in your face really so it feels good right now.
It does not replace some of the core fun features of WoW. Class fantasy, combat, dungeons, raids, etc. It is simply another game that really scratches a different itch, but sort of feels good alongside WoW. I WISH WoW had those things, but it does not and honestly maybe the very chill Palia environment being separate is good for me mentally.

I’m glad we aren’t getting player housing THIS expansion, I’d rather have it in Midnight when we go back to Eastern Kingdoms.
Player Housing in War Within would basically be a garrison we’d never visit again.
