They just don’t care.
All they care about is what affects them.
They don’t care about the negative impact on the people around them or on the server as a whole it’s the “Gotta get mine” mentality.

Sure upgrades make a difference, but you need to use your brain and weigh the cost/benefit of buying something that seems overpriced.
Why don’t they fix the bots then?
The things that are overpriced because of GDKP and people actively RMTing.

New accounts can’t trade or even mail their own toons for 30 days after creation.
That’s likely had a huge impact on botters.
It makes a huge time investment to even get the account to the point that they can sell people gold.
That’s 30 days for their bot detection(and people reporting them) for them to get caught before they recoup their costs, which in this case is the 1 month sub.
Is that because of GDKPs or another issue that is a far more damning plague on this game?
GDKP wouldn’t be a problem if they self-policed and kicked gold buyers out of their raids but they don’t. They turn a blind eye to it.
Lots of non-GDKP guilds do the same thing.
I’ve been told to “stop insulting gold buyers you’re making people upseet” by officers in more than one guild.
It’s a community wide problem.

Easy.
You say “Gold buying is cheating” and if someone gets mad or starts defending gold buying you found the gold buyer.
And if they don’t get upset they can use their illicit gold for “merit” in those groups, right?

People get really upset when called out for poor behaviour.
It’s like calling people out for not putting shopping carts into the corral.
They feel justified and get angry when you say it’s bad bheavour.

So can you explain why a level 10 can’t go fish and sell those fish for inflated prices on a GDKP enabled server’s AH?
You mean the low value fish that nobody wants because they’re not the biggest and best?
Or do you mean the fish that do have value but are surrounded by level 14 mobs that’ll kill the level 10s?
You can farm up Oily Blackmotuh in Darkshore for example, but I wouldn’t recommend trying ti before level 15-20. The murlocs will make sure you’re having a bad time.
