How so? How does this make people want to multibox? And to spamkill people.
Because removing the simple inbuilt unit ID, they are forced to purchase and install third party tools like ISBoxer. And with that much power at their fingertips… why not?
Are they going with more nerfed Addon/macro API than what was in vanilla?
I would like that in some sense, but I dabbled with dual boxing too sometimes, it was fun didn’t find it very powerful, but helped with leveling.

Is there any evidence besides memories that this function existed in Vanilla?
Eloraell multi boxing isn’t a welcomed thing to the majority. Blizzard only allows it because you are paying more.
People do not like it, your post is an obvious attempt at a “Hey look everyone, Blizzard is in the wrong lets complain together.”
You have one guy on here trying to help you but instead of talking it out between you two you just shoot everything down and that’s it.
Get over it and play like everyone else, your acting is if you can not play at all/

The way the OP wants to play is entirely possible without using these macros, just a little less convenient.
I’m not buying the unsubscribe thing. Blizz hasn’t broken their ability to dual box WoW accounts, just the method they want to use for targeting.
In fact all I’ve seen this person do is whine. They whined about not getting in beta or the stress test, whined about the PTR account bug (which Blizz said they were working on anyway) and now about these broken macros. And no, I’m not “stalking” them I just see this garbage all over the forums.

I agree. It sounds like this will give people the push to use ISBOXER (I like it) and maybe just go PvP and kill the ones complaining about multiboxing.
I mean all the vast majority of multiboxers wanna do is level and play the game their way. Like old school D&D RPGs where you controlled the entire party.
If people wanna destroy my play style, I guess we should return the favor?
No one is forcing you to do anything. You guys are talking about using a third party program that Blizzard has banned people for using in the past.
I hope an employee sees and takes action.
Read the reply from the Blue. They were BANNED not for using ISBOXER (as the poster claimed) they were banned for account sharing.
Besides, what I suggested SHOULD get the exact same response when my quest givers are killed on a PvE server. PvP issues require a PvP response. Dont like it? Dont flag or roll a PvP server…

ISBOXER has been used since before WoW. WoW allows it. It even approves the Add-on that helps it. If WoW was against ISBOXER, they would not support any of the above and make sure they either know about it to ban you or stop it. I know EQ does on it “TrueBox” Servers. If Daybreak can do it, Blizzard surely can.

90% of playerbase hates multiboxers they were even worse in the classic version of the game, should not be allowed.

And the type of multi-boxer you hate, is unaffected. The people who just want to use a pocket healer to level an alt are prevented.
Though I find it funny, that when I raised this issue of no focus, from the original POV of healers losing a capability they had in Vanilla, it got 9 replies. Keep it up guys, this post count will get much more attention.
