No Focus Unit = Unsubscribing 2nd Account

Hey Blizzard!

Since you disabled Focus target, but you’re using the Modern API so no combat scripting, you’ve prevented any method by which dual- and multi-box players to play using legitimate means.

What this means is that unless either Focus target is returned, or another solution is provided, I will be unsubscribing my 2nd account that I’ve had running since 2006. If I can’t dual-box without using cheat software, I don’t need a second account and so you’re literally going to lose a revenue stream by not providing what we had in Vanilla and every other version of Retail.

If money talks, listen up.

We already know we’re getting the modern API. The only difference is that they’re removing the Focus unit, because the left hand isn’t paying attention to the right, and major decisions are falling through the cracks.

Not like multiboxing harms the game in the first place. You know, i guess the people that get oneshot by 5 chain lightnings arent that happy.

Sorry elo. I hate to be that person. But focus target wasn’t a thing in vanille so it shouldn’t be in classic.

Can’t tell people no changes but than get butt hurt over them making it accurate.

also people multiboxed in vanilla. however they used macros for it instead. so you can still do it. no need for 3rd party anything.

There are perfectly illegitimate means that I refuse to use. There is no way to manually target a non-grouped player during combat.

I dont care either way but this isnt technically true. You could use scripts or addons to enable focus targets but the modern api blocks those functions from addons.

you don’t need anything illegal. you can write a very simple macro that works to do it.
