Depends entirely on your family members. Living with MY parents… you couldn’t pay me. They’d cost me way more to live with them than it would be to pay for them to live elsewhere. They are a nightmare. Living with my (newly) adult kids? NO. Children, you’re on your own now, go be bad roommates somewhere else. (I’m half kidding, my son lives with me while he goes to college… my daughter keeps trying to worm her way back in though).

I’d rather be broke and have a peaceful house than live with my family to save money. However, if any of them were truly in need, my home is always open.
