No dungeon finder is absolutely the correct call

Just a reminder to blizzard, your core classic audience who fought for classic realms in the first place are all overwhelmingly anti-LFD, and we cheer on this decision. I, and most others who aren’t playing retail, are ready to quit if LFD ever touches the game. LFD goes against the very essence of what made the classic games special. Notice most of the pro lfd comments are from retail characters who will be paying you a sub for dragonflight no matter which decision you make. You lose your core, you lose your real increase in subs. When the minority doesn’t get their way, they make themselves seem like the majority, when they are an extremely vocal minority, and this applies exactly to the pro LFD threads on this forum.

I am excited to play wotlk without this socially destructive feature in the game. You absolutely made the correct decision, do not go back and alienate your core.

maybe you should try making friends in real life

I’m guessing you’re just going to sit on the statistics that support your claims of any majority being anti-LFD?

i constantly remember being told to wait for Wrath if i wanted LFD, but now i’m told that i can’t get LFD in my Wrath? that’s some hypocritical BS right there.

you guys got to have your Classic/TBC experience so why are we not allowed to have our Wrath experience?

Based and classicpilled

Why is it always retail characters that are pro lfd…

I remember most of the nochanges crowd being supportive of changes like no LFD if we ever got to wrath. Virtually everyone who wants dungeon finder is already playing retail, there is no benefit in catering to the crowd who wants LFD when retail is already designed to appeal to them. Makes more sense to appeal to people who wanted classic in the first place who are actually additional customers they wouldn’t otherwise have.

I don’t even play retail either. Retail is an even bigger waste of time. its 90% chores and 10% actual enjoyable game play. The whole reason I want wrath to begin with is all of WoW sucks at the moment

Oh but no LFD I guess I just won’t play durrrrrr

Where’s this Classic core audience forming groups? I thought we all raid logging.

LFD doesn’t restrict you from forming groups with friends on the odd case you wish to play casually.

Wait for Phase 1 again.

you nailed it huff

We should only group in dungeons phase 1? This helps retain playerbase how exactly?

For most of us WotLK means stuff like: Naxx, Malygos, Sarth 3D, Ulduar, ToC, ICC, new talents and spells, Strand, Wintergrasp, VoA, Inscription, or getting a Shadowmourne.

LFD was such a tiny drop in the bucket and I legit feel like the only people obsessing over it are the ones that do nothing but reroll alts over and over. It just doesn’t make sense to me to say that it is your “wrath experience” while you neglect 95% of the content of the expansion.

If the nochanges crowd has been playing through classic, and tbcc, then why don’t they just play with all the friends they have made along the way. They should have a community within itself at this point.

No, but thats when Dungeon content is relevant. You can go form a Shadow Labs (N) group right now if you like.

Can we not do both? How does leveling alts ruin your community?

How are you not able to level alts without LFD?

It’s all about gatekeeping and protecting mage boosters. The “muh community” argument is BS when people can still form groups manually.
